I consider myself lucky, that as a result of playing SXFL,
I knew before the fact..(broadcast) that there was going to be a stagger restart...

And it was all a result of playing this game, earlier this season,
and the rule is still posted on the front page...lol

There was one other stagger restart i can remember...I was wondering why Emig wasn't talking about it...It was during his riding career...although maybe he was in the Lights class...(then the 125 class)

The rule is 12:01 am PST Saturday morning.
We are flexible on that..evidenced by multiple 'forgiveness-es' and a few exceptions...

like when ADV rider went wonky one Friday night(last few hours designated for picks) for 6 hours...


The only true point was to not allow official (RACE DAY)scoring and timing to be used..
Your supposed to make the picks prior to the start of race day OFFICIAL event. (intent)(like RC is riding unofficial practice, but not qualifying practice, afaik)


There is no way to simply know if JS259 is gonna race...(or Musquin, or Metcalf, or LuckyCharms, or...windham)
or is gonna 'scratch' at noon time..


I'm not going to define it either way....and let you guys tell me/each other what is OK.

believe in Vegas, a bet is a bet, and a deadline for bets IS the deadline...you can't wait until the flag drops to get in the $$$$
A late horse scratch is just that...afaik? you forfeit the bet?

I haven't heard yet if windham is out either...and he's one of my picks(top5)

YOU guys write it/pick it/ or get it in however you want...
AND I'll(We) will get it straighten out afterwards(soon)...

If you submit four picks(you certainly can place four different bets in Vegas) and don't edit that around(during) race day official...it's ok..but someone owes me a home-brew beer

I'm just trying to keep everyone in a fun mood...without making us sit by the PC/internet...Supercross website or twitter feed...
worrying about our SXFL picks..It's ALL good...to me..

Keep it fun, and don't bust each others bubbles being hard to deal with, and we'll all just figure it out later when the racers show up to race...

I'm putting JS7 in my picks...but if he doesn't show, even i would like to pick again....

I just can't fathom an idea on how to get 'official' entries by the deadline, without going back to
the hard deadline...and just saying 'tough'...that's how it is...forfeit points.


So instead of being inflexible...for now, the rule is fluid...and we can continue enjoying picks....(and getting onto a normal weekend)

If you change your picks when the live broadcast starts...You are gonna get a DQ.


I just don't want anyone worrying, or having to rush to a PC/internet to get the latest update/change the picks..

So it's flexible, fluid..and everyone enjoy the weekend normally, and the race itself.

No one is gonna get penalized if the big news tomorrow morning is KDub and JS7 are both out, or both in, and picks change

Everyone will probably want to pick from riders who show up, and there is no way to know who is gonna show up(with these days, and times) until track walk...etc..


I should probably update the rules, and post it...but since we are all scratching our heads...I'll do it when all players post a consensus!
