It certainly reminds me of the '70s.

I was trying not to say anything - - - - - but I'm not good at the not saying anything - - - - - sooooooo what's with that weird tongue? Your artist must be having flashbacks from the 70s.

Black shirts

Hey guys, not to be a party pooper, I love black shirts and they look really cool, but just consider the fact that white is much, much cooler in hot weather, just my 2 cents.

Marco.

P.S.: I can't wait to see pics of the bike with front and rear suspension installed!!!

Shocking!

Luke and Rick came down to Lonnie's today and worked their butts off. Lonnie and his wife were amazing hosts and served up some homemade beef stew!

Rick and Luke got right to work on the mounting up the new swingarm and shocks because we all could not wait to see them on the bike!

Needless to say, I am very happy with the way the bike is coming together!

Then the boys worked on mounting up the frame mounted chain roller to assist the chain guides in keeping the chain in a reasonable amount of slack throughout the whole range of travel....not an easy task on a bike with this geometry.

Rick and Luke had to leave early because Luke had to get back to Portland to attend a banquet where he was going to get his 3rd place 30 Amateur Class Trophy and recognition for his 2011 Cross Country series!!!

Congrats Luke!!

Ray had showed up so he and Lonnie jumped in where Luke and Rick left off. They got the chain roller mounted and I started putting the rest of the bike back together.

Then we had to start looking at what else we were also going to show at the One Motorcycle Show. I convinced Lonnie to bring his CZ down from the rafters, so I invited a few friends over and we were able to get it down on terra firma!!

This is the first time I have ever seen this bike at eye level, it has been hanging in the rafters for 6 years or so! It needs a little cleaning up, but it looked awesome.

And then there is Lonnie's little Honda 50 that he wants to show as well. I think we have our work cut out for us...in that the show is Friday!

And one last shot of the SL with most of its clothes on to end this update (just waiting for the new front brake caliper)

Ortiz Hospitality is Phenomenal!

I can honestly say I've never worked in such a wonderful and hospitable atmosphere. The Ortiz go the extra mile for the team, a beautiful well equipped shop, great chow (the beef stew was beyond compare, I think they used prime rib!) and even making my dog Danny feel welcome. We are really lucky to have them for sponsors and teammates!

Looks Awesome Paul, Luke, Rick, Lonnie!!!

While your half of the OSR teams was working.... the other half (Me, Sherry, and Allan) were busy sitting around drinking beer...(well I was)

See you next weekend.
