Bob Bledsoe racing in Southern California. Bob was sponsored on Royal Enfields by West Coast Enfield distributor, Cooper Motors.

Bletz, if you're out there, PM me! There are some Enfield enthusiasts who would really like to talk to you! I was in White Salmon last summer, and couldn't find you listed in the local phone book!

And here's another picture that Mr. Bledsoe emailed to me a few years ago, taken while he was at Bonneville, helping Cooper Motors support Jimmy Enz, who campaigned Enfields in speed events. This picture dates from 1962. That's Bob's and Jimmy's wives posed in front of the Enfield.
Cooper Motors was also very helpful to an unknown New Zealander who was at Bonneville for the first time that year. You can see his odd looking old Indian behind the Enfield!

Rick, ever drop by the BritBike.com camp at Mid Ohio VMD?
good times there, always bullshit flyin', beer in the coolers, and a bike show/BBQ Saturday evening.

WW1 vintage Triumph Model H.
Anyone watching "The War Horse" recently might remember a scene with a Dispatch Rider on one.
