Some Triumph twins demoted to Ass Jewellry status.

And a pre-unit that acually gets ridden.
All from the Kentucky Kickdown, 9/14/13

A few pages back are the pics of my AJS after I put it on the road recently. It turned out to have a few minor problems so while my daughter was overseas for a few weeks I totally dismantled the entire bike, engine and all and did a ground up rebuild on it. Just about everything is new now. 5 weeks, a couple of hundred hours and a grand or so of new parts from AMOC in the UK and it is now back to factory spec. Runs very nicely too - mechanically quiet, totally oil-tight and at 50mph apart from a slight pulse felt in the pegs, as smooth as silk. Doesn't look much different in the pics, but it does up close.

Fantastic AJS !
Is it a 350 or 500 ? Singles and twins make the world a happy place.

It's the original recovered with the same pattern/coloured piping. It's a 500 by the way.

Man, ya don't see a Hesketh everyday...! V1000...? What year is that one...?
Often wondered how many the Baron actually produced. I saw an old magazine article that had photos of the long term test model, they never washed the damn thing, still looked righteous...
