+1, a little - but in my thoughts, and ...

the CHiPs theme used to go through my head lot on the ZX-7... not so on any bike since... though YMCA did, too... 'cause, you know, you can do the whole Y-M-C-A with your arms if you ride a stable bike...

But singing in general doesn't come natural to me. I'll have the songs in my head, but that's about it.

Oh hells yes I sing in my helmet. I also shout obscenities and such. It's awkward when I pull into a gas station and forget that people can hear me.

And to answer the OP's question, yes. Sometimes I forget what I'm doing when I'm in city traffic until I look over and see the guy in the cage next to me just staring at me like I'm crazy (opinions vary as to how true that is).

Another fun thing to do is to meow at pedestrians and cagers when you are stuck in traffic. Very amusing.

Sing quite a bit...its the dreaming I worry about...

I sing quite a bit while riding, helmet or not.
It does suck when I am at a stoplight and something looking awful nice pulls up beside me...
Oops.

and I thought I was crazy for getting the urge to sing in my helmet when I first started riding... I also have a tendency to yell triumphantly when I hit a set of corners perfectly on a racetrack, hah.

I sort of sing, well I think it's singing but my kids disagree!

What I sing depends on what I last heard on the way out of the house. I can't begin to tell you how frustrating it is to have the theme to Peppa Pig going round your head when what you really want is Florence and the Machine or Adele.

I did actually sing the chorus to Arlow Guthrie's Pickle song out loud today (which is rare as I don't sing out loud too often). I couldn't really sing the spoken parts... and I had Concord Dawn's "Take Me Away" (I don't care about the video, but here the song is with a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fW6N...eature=mh_lolz ) going through my head as much as the Pickle song.

I really probably ought to break down and buy a reliable MP3 player...
