Nope, the one who tried to hitch a ride with me was only trying to get down to Cool Springs to visit her cousins.

It took me over 9 hours to got to MMM last year (350+ miles gravel and backroads)

I may be into this ride since it will be in my back yard. That is if y'all base out of Marlinton Motor. Yes, there is plenty of dirt just east of the motor inn up around Seven Springs and Laurel Highlands. I have done a dirt road/trail 100 mile loop thru the Laurel Highlands about 6 times now. I voted on the last weekend in June since I already have a weekend ride up to Wellsboro on the first weekend in June to watch the STPR Rally.

ok......

I'm willing to try anything, me scooting around on the seat to stop will be interesting to watch (short leg syndrome).

And still, even if my butt will make an interstate/main highway ride, not sure if I can do without going bored/tired or angry.

Nice action shot here Rick. Here I am diving into three servings of the Diners finest. And for dessert I ate the Canadian seated across from me. Of course this worked me all up as you can see by the the little red appendage sprouting from below my jacket.

We finally agreed on a dollar amount and a no points ticket that isn't supposed to become part of my driving record. I'm still not entirely convinced they held up their end of the bargain, but they did cash my check I haven't pulled my driver's abstract to find out if the ticket is on it. Obviously I'm not too anxious to go through that town again, something I'd be doing if Marlinton becomes the location for BYOB '12

I wouldn't be surprised it they passed out tickets for going too slow through that shit hole.

I haven't voted yet....undecided.....

I imagine either destination would be good for the dirt riders. The scenery and twisty roads are better around Marlinton IMO. And that's more to my liking.

.............I think I just decided.

I suspect that Canadian's a little stringy.

I noticed your appendage for the first time when I posted that, but I couldn't come up with anything witty to say about it.

Stock seat gets softer over time. 511 miles.
