Haven't tried any of that...I'll have to see if I can find some in town.

I'm still enjoying the very last of the 2011 Jubelale Freddie's has been out for a few weeks now. Albertson's by me still had it in 6ers yesterday.

And then there's this:

Sound Brewing in Poulsbo is making its mark. Some delectable offerings for sure.

Had the Sound Brewing Nimbus Double IPA on tap tonight at the Eastside in Oly - the stuff is pretty tasty and pretty strong. Followed that with a Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye IPA and an Alpine Pilsener (to go with the white clam pizza from next door). I walked away from the pub - not driving or riding. Capped the evening with a Celebration Ale at home.

NW Peaks Brewery... a tiny operation run by an ex-pharma researcher out of a garage space in Ballard.

http://www.nwpeaksbrewery.com/

(who here wouldn't like a beer with topo contour lines?)

Every beer he brews is "inspired by" (or at least named after) a peak he's climbed in the NW. That alone was enough for me to sign up.

He has taps and a little "basecamp" area at the shop, but for a few bucks a month I got myself and the lady a growler subscription... every month 2 new varities, never had a bad month yet and I've been doing it for over a year, plus Kevin is a nice guy and really likes to get to know his customers.

Hilliard's is just down the block (also a great product, if slightly different business model).

If you go to the Green Dragon, and are curious about an unfamiliar brew, be careful how you pose your question. The bartender apparently thinks that the words "Who brews that?" means "Pour one for me."

Great beer and only about a block from the Backfire bike nights held in the warmer months. I was very pleased to discover their little tasting area while looking at the cool bikes parked along the road.

I've been enjoying Schooner Exact 3Grid IPA. Available at PCC or the brewery on 1st South (just south of the West Seattle Bridge across from Daniel Smith, next to EcoHaus).

Stone IPA
Supergoose

I can get them within 2 blocks draft or growler. Stumbling distance.

2. Ranger is my staple beer. I dislike New Belgium otherwise, but this one rocks.

3. Hot day of riding or hanging out in the garage requires some kind of race car beer... Amazing how much of that stuff I can drink when I really focus. :)
I can see you're a person with similar tastes. I really like the Ranger, Stone, and Tricerahops brews

In general, I really like hoppy or stout stuff, myself.
With the above beers in mind, you should try these, too:

1. Titan IPA - Great Divide Brewing Company
2. Hop Devil - Victory Brewing Company

For me, I'll have to try the Green Flash.
