LOST POWER--post if you can help or need help

If you've lost yer power in the ice storm, yer prolly not surfing ADV. But, in case you are . . . .

I live in Tacoma. I got power. Also have a empty guest bedroom with a queen bed, and a kids bedroom with 2 twin beds. And we like dogs. If your family needs a place to hang until your power gets restored, call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX [Edit: emergency over so removed my phone number]

Anybody else in the area can help out, post up here.

That is a great offer, as of last night we now have 9 family and frends staying here, makes a total of 13 in this house. We are starting to run out of personal floor space but we are warm and watching movies.

We're on Tacoma Power. Use them for internet and cable TV too (Click!).

We got blacked out yesterday for about 4 hours but those guys are awesome out there putting things right. Even without power, we got a gas "wood" stove in the family room that keeps us at about 70f, lots of lights and lanterns, plenty of food, and a bunch of camping stoves as well as the BBQ grille for cooking. Water heater is also on gas so we got hot water even if the power goes out again. We don't need no stinkin generator.

The only thing I really miss when the lights go out is--NO AdvRider! (Cable modem runs on AC.)

Yeah, no secondary heat for me. Only have the gas furnace and no gen so that sealed the deal. We have Tacoma water but have PSE for power. Wish it was both right now
