This sounds all a bit hard now, I can't travel to Perth the week before then to busso if that's the case I'm pulling out, is there no way I can get the bike checked on the day?

I'll email them today and see if I can organize a bike check on the day otherwise the world will have to wait until another rally to see my skills.
Bummer as I was really looking forward to it1200 ks return trip to Perth then another 1200 ks the next week doesn't gell with me can't take that amount of time off work either

Thanks JayBo. That is what I have been looking for.
It looks like we need to be in Busso for 5PM for a riders briefing, then a couple of parade laps. Yay.

Rick, PM your email address to Jaybo or myself, and we can send you the Supp Regs, then everything will become much clearer.
You can be scrutineered is Busso on the Friday as long as you prearrange it.
You will need to get a one event MA license, and to get that you will need to be a member of a motorcycle club. The T&EMCC costs $80 to join but that will generally get you a 10% discount at a lot of bike shops

Sorry FIIG Rick. This is the danger of providing information on the Forum instead of directing everyone to read the reg's first. I was just trying to be helpful. The scrutineering in Perth is for the Perth entrants. We can accommodate scrutineering in Busso for non-Perth residents. That is scheduled for the Friday afternoon. We only ask that you "pre-arrange" that with the organisers so that we can plan the time. Obviously it is a busy time down there so we need to know exactly who needs to be checked down there, so make a reference to the need in your entry and/or email the organisers.

We're really trying to not make it difficult and encourage people to give it a go, but balancing that with a need to ensure things are safe and manageable. If you want an easier race to enter then really your choices are limited but the Yilgarn Rally would have to be a good candidate, as it's a bike/quad only event and basically a "local" race. The QFR is a round of the Australian Rally Champs, so comes with all the publicity, crowds, and pomp of a major national event complete with TV coverage.
I hope you can join us in the fun.
Ciao
JayBo

I'm taking my Slolux down with some tools ( ? ) swag, ESKY , Howards spare wheel, possibly a jerry of fuel. Any thing else ??

Not sure if I'm taking the trailer down as yet. I have to work on the Friday , so I'll be travelling down after that so don't think that I'll make Busso.

We don't have a choice.
I will have to start work super early and try to get down there by about 4.30 for the briefing at 5.00PM.
You will need to be there earlier for documentation and scrutineering.
It looks like Neil is keen to get on the piss in Busso and Bully is keen to go to his mates place at Nannup. I don't give a toss where I stay as long as there is beer there and we are in Nannup by 10.00 Saturday Morning.
Saturday Night we will stay at Nannup.
When I have finished studying all the info(could be a while, I'm not illiterate but fairly close to it), I'll call Bully and see if we can formulate a plan.
What do you have in mind? Are you trailering your bike there or riding it? Will you be on your own or is Ev coming along to hold your hand?

Happy to ride to Nannup after Fridays entertainment and camp there.

Let me know when you're all registered etc.
