Unga, training games at this point are basically custom matches that you can set up with less than 30 players. They don't score XP or credits (but they do cost for ammo expended). The big use I can see for training games for beginner players is to allow you to go into maps that are you new to you with someone that knows the map and get "the grand tour". I just jumped into random battles and played.....you learn a lot by observing other players and their strategies.

Finally got my priest..yay!
what a difference the upgraded gun makes.it went from a max range at around half of most maps to end to end on any map. Now just gotta grind some exp. Points for a decent radio.

stupid games, keeping me up until 1am...
so yeah, I'm good at getting trounced by faster tanks with big engines. What's the best way to get experience for the crew? Stay with the first tank until they're topped up?

So how does the artillery work? When I die, I watch what others are doing. They're nailing people all the way across the map with a shot or two.

Art. can see the whole map from what I understand, I haven't played one yet. but they can't see other tanks unless they fire or are spoted by other tanks on the team. I think they can also see when you run over walls or trees.

you can also kinda guess where someone is hiding if they haven't been spotted yet. its hard to wait sometimes, but works well when you hit a biggie that thinks he's hiding |

Oh, and once you get into upgraded Tier III and above arty, we can reach across the map. Don't think you're safe just because you right beside your cap.

I don't bother with crew experience unless I have a tank I want to keep. That exp. doesn't all carry over to the next tank so when your eye is on the next tier don't bother. If you Elite a tank you can choose to have all exp. go to the crew which may be a good idea if you plan to play it a while. Also, if you have 20,000 credits to blow, training the Commander helps the whole crew.

Got my T20 (tier 7) last night.
![]() Now for several weeks of getting the tar kicked out of me while I upgrade it. Usually, I sell a lower tier tank when I move up, but I'm not going to this time. ![]() Keeping these which are both maxed out. M7 = Money maker + it's a good one for platooning with lower tier tanks. M4A3E8 Sherman = w/105 mm SPH M4L23 it' fun. Getting better at running the big gun. |
