Cool. Thanks.

I've never spent gold to train a crew.

Also, there is a game mechanism that allows you to silver train 100% crews.

No

-At the cost of 20,000 credits, this option trains/retrains a crew member as follows, but never below 75% training level:
-If the crew member is retraining to a vehicle of the same class, then the final training level is 90% of the crew member's current training level.
-If the crew member is retraining to a vehicle of a different class, then the final training level is 80% of the crew member's current training level.

Skid, actually, he's correct.....if you get a crew to 100% and don't enable their first secondary skill, the xp keeps accumulating and just sits there. If you have enough, when you retrain them with silver to a new tank, they'll have enough points to stay at 100% even with the 10% loss.

Didn't know that. I copied the above from the wiki.
I've never left someone without a skill for more than a battle or two once they hit 100%.

I will leave them without training up the perk or skill if I'm close to buying the next tank up, but unsure is there is a totally different path of perks or skills I would want for that upcoming tank.

For example, I was worried the jump from KV-3 to KV-4, with the KV-4 being such a new tank, would have me wishing I had chosen other things. So I left the skills unresearched on those crew members (third skill set I believe?) until I could better read about what the KV-4 needs... turns out the KV-3 is now one of the main tanks I use for platooning with you guys (since not many have higher tier tanks) and other people, so I might as well keep the crew in it. ... but... anyway, I do save up that training sometimes.

and so far it's been one massacre after another.

It just goes to show what concentrated firepower can do.

For one of the matches, they went one way, their opponents went the other way and wound up out-capping them.

Good weekend, 3.1m in bank after buying VK2801, T29 and Tiger =).

BTW how the hell does a 105mm round bounce off a 12t at 80m then next shot penetrates a Loraine 40t at >350m ?

Expensive weekend here.....KV-2, T1 HT, 38na and 3601H sold.....M6, StugIII, Chaffee, Tiger, PzIV and IS bought. The Stug is a fun little TD to play most of the time.

Stug can drop the pain across the map with the long 75. It's my self-esteem tank after getting my paper Sherman trashed.

I like the IS with the big gun. But you need to stay hidden with it. Heavies on that tier can disable it quick. Oh, and those big shells will bounce if you're too far away. Annoying.

So I researched the Tiger2, but can't afford it. Hopefully sales will come up soon. Don't want to sell the Tiger, as that's another fun long range sniper.
