Finally getting some decent results with my tier 6 French SPG:

Played a few matches in 7.5, got the new Port/San Francisco map once. It looks like great fun, tons of cover (industrial zones with sheds/stacks of wood). The T-50-2 was almost unbeatable there.

I've been playing the crap out of the DayZ Mod for Arma II, so I'll probably be pretty shocked when I come back over to WoT, lol. Seems like a lot of changes, and I missed the deadline for a tier IX sale apparently.

LOL, I stopped playing the DayZ mod a while back, I should go visit it.

You think TK'ing is bad in WOT, it's all about TK'ing in DayZ....or at least it used to be.

Unless you personally know a player, or play with a group that uses teamspeak like ADV, it's kill on sight now.

Apparently it used to be all chummy and friendly except once in a while, but it's pure PvP now, lol. The quasi-rule seems to be that if a guy has a weapon in his hands, kill him. If all he has is nothing or a flashlight (new survivors no longer spawn with a handgun), let him go.

Hacks are somewhat normal now... Yesterday everyone who was playing on the server I was on lost their kit and instantly had a M243, a sniper rifle, and a full pack of the best stuff. I switched servers immediately... which only put me back at the kit I had. The guys who stayed on that server for a few minutes more kept all their new stuff.

Either that or once in a while someone magically, and accidentally, transports everyone on the map to the same location... (instead of, I guess, just themselves or their group) so it's an instant death-match.

Where do you guys go to find out what is on sale or special...whatever?

I doubt I am going to be buying much now...I am pretty much where I want to be. I have both tigers, the panther, and the jgpanther. I will work to the royal tiger, but no big hurry. I want to work up the american line, but again no big hurry...I do pretty well with the sherman and e2...I still have not bought the e8. On the soviet side I want to work up their TD line and perhaps up a little on the JS line, but Eh...no big hurry again. The only thing I have that is french is the prem TD and I still love that ugly slow thing. Still have the Wespe but it is just taking up a space...just can't kill enough brain cells to play the thing. (joke...that was a joke)...I love my PzIII again now that they put it back in tier 4 matches.

Has anyone else noticed the graphics have changed....the fires look much better, you see just about every pen hit on the enemy tanks...all kinds of little holes...I have gotten killed more then once just watching the holes appear in the side of a KV....just not looking around just watching the shots make their mark. It started a while ago but no one has said anything about it.....happened about the time the changed how the PzIII was put into matches...one minute I was a scout the next I am just a tier IV tank.

While you are talking on the other games, I saw Mechwarrior online the other day....I loved those games 20 years ago...I may give it a go....I think you guys got me hooked on this online game deal.

I was off camping with the Boy Scouts, got back last night logged in for one game. Ran the SU26. Got my 2x and pretty much passed out from exhaustion.

Heading up tothe Central ADV Rally Friday, so I'll be away for 9 days riding northern WI and the U.P on my new (to me) DRZ400E.

The Patton was on sale? I got enough xp and credits and an open slot! I was hoping to max out the US med line. What else is on sale now?

Read the worldoftanks.com news section. There is some kind of special almost every weekend. They will usually issue a press item detailing the special by Friday afternoon, sometimes earlier.

Had a hell of a game in my Pz3601 last nignt. the crew was on as good as I have even seen them. I've never pulled off the long shots like I did in this game.
