I think I'm going to keep the ELC AMX. I was a bit worried about the lack of a turret and the best gun being kind of slow on the reload, but I think I figured out a good way to run it.
I loaded it up with optics and binocs and the vent class, gave the Commander Recon and the Driver clutch braking. I'm also running go faster gas for now. The idea is to haul ass around the map like a T-50-2 and spot as many as possible. Once I've figured out where everyone is, find a gap and go after the arty. Roll up behind them and take a shot then take off again while I reload to scout the area for arty defenders. Repeat until they are dead. If there are defenders, buzz around the area to keep them and the arty busy and spotted and hope I get some support. I'm not going try beef up the repair time right now. If I get tracked more than once, I'm doing something wrong. The binocs are for the maps that I can find a good hiding spot or otherwise safe place to sit and spot. I've only tried this once, but it worked quite well. |

If you can ram them in the side or back they can't shoot you unless they turn around. Ramming them should slow them down a little bit. Haven't had it happen to me yet, but it's how I would kill me. |

In a match with my Grille, and an AMX gets through and pops me. I jump around between tanks, eyeing the action, and see not one but two team members kill themselves by ramming tanks when they had minimal hit points. And we still won

I am not sure on the ELC...it is fun and for now I think I will keep it....I use it for more then just an arty killer. It does have a good enough gun to put some hurt on...but nothing is better then zipping in and dodging around while the enemy tries to shoot you and end up shooting eachother.
But the thing is great at killing arty and that is what I use it for...if it scouts on the way there fine....but an arty killer it excels at. In more then one game I have killed all arty with it.

I've got a replay file that I want the first minute put on Youtube... Is there someone around here that I can send the file to? Or should I figure it out myself. Or I guess more of the match could be added in, but it's mostly just me sucking and missing shots... The first minute is what I want up on youtube lol I'm still in shock that I did what I did...

I seem to have dropped from +75fps down to around 27. Cut back nearly all settings (except water = always off) which were set to max and I'm getting around 51fps.
Maybe v7.5 has averaged out connections?

I've noticed a sort of jumping or a delay that I've not seen before. My tank seems to just drop control for a second or two. Anyone else noticed?

That would be the huge helping of lag they added with the last patch.

I got (politely) accused of hacking last night. I move my Hellcat crew into a Slugger. Playing an encounter mission on Sigfried Line, I somehow ended up in the middle of the field, shooting at another TD. After I kill him, he makes a comment to the effect of "it must be nice to be able to sit in the middle of a field and shoot without being seen".
96% camo skill + a camo net is good.

Same here.
I was in my M7 priest a couple of days ago, attacking party on Malinovka. Easy. Just after spawning, I picked a bush on the top ridge where all defenders sit and BOOM: 1-shot. The gentleman was not so polite. |
