its a fun tank to play, but it depends on your style I suppose.That is one reason I want to try the fast amx's, I prefer faster game play but cannot stand the t50.

I've decided to try the American medium tanks again. Not to intrigued with the Lee myself but I'll give it a try to get the better tanks.

I plan on keeping the German lights too, it looks like the higher tier German tanks are good and worth working up to.

I've watched a couple of the fast French lights, I had a good laugh watching them buzz around.

Currently I'm without Tanks, no WoT's at work.

I'm on a 3 year old Dell Precision M4400, pretty maxed out w/4GB Ram and a decent video suite - and the game alternates between suck 2fps and screaming 100fps. No idea of the logic behind that, except there must be a combination of background processess I'm dodging and net lag, or something.

This AMX40 is breakin my heart! What a POS. I want to contribute and can't. The thing is helpless. Any map with an incline and I'm toast.

Yep. I guess you have to suffer some to get a AMX13.
I think it will be worth it though.

In a SU-26, ranked more than halfway down the list.

AMX 13 is kiinda worth the pain, paper armor, but fairly quick and can mess up a larger tank, you get a 6 round magazine, so once your loaded, you can hammer out 6 fast shots into the sides and rear of larger tanks, just make sure you escape to reload after.

SU-26 is a fantastic low tier arty, the turret is nice as you never really have to suffer through re-aiming from scratch like other arty. Im on the SU-5 and its decent too, the 152mm gun is nice.

I did that on Malinovka last weekend with my Priest. Was in the upper half of the list(tier 2 to 5 battle, they had a couple of KV's) and my scouts kept me supplied with targets. I wasn't doing all the damage, but my shots kept coming in to finish them off.....

I hate that, getting a tank down to 20% and then someone else gets the kill during my reload.

The Pz4 works pretty well once fully upped. Enough armor and speed to hide during reloads, and the big 75mm is enough to hurt tier7 and below. The t8s I just hide from.

Have you noticed that if you hit tanks in certain areas, they just pop? The Lee is their side door, easy hit. Other tanks are the back sections through the tracks if not from behind, and others is the turret.

i hate it when I'm hiding quite well, waiting... and some dumbass teammate strolls right on through knocking trees over, and I get nailed by artillery... Or I try to back up and find a teammate is using me as a shield and I get hit by both the teammate and the guy I'm trying to run from. whee...

Another good spot on the Lee is just to shoot at the hull gun...the armored gun port shield around it is thin. On the KV with the tall turret, shoot at the back and you have a chance of blowing the ammo rack.

There are actually some skins out here that show the hit zones.

I've been messing around with some of the OTM (Over Target Markers) and Crosshair mods. Some of them are pretty cool.
They can be found in the World of Tanks forum under Mods & Addons.
After a bunch of digging, I found an add on manager that make using them much easier.
