I played a bit last night and 50% of my maps were Himmlesdorf, against 7&8's and I had the Priest

Got to the point where I just said feck it and started driving around shooting point blank. I died fast.

Go to www.worldoftanks.com.....read the newcomer's guide under the game tab. There is also a lot of valuable info in the noobs area of the forum and in the wiki. You can play this thing totally for free...you only have to spend real money if you want to.

Sometimes it just goes right in battle. Just took the su-85b out for a spin with the 57mm zis-2 , hoping to get a a little xp ready for the 85. Highest opponent was a b1, slow but a tough one to crack so i was expecting a few kills then to get popped of by the b1. what i wasn't expecting was a epic 8 kill streak took on the b1 and he was bouncing shots! Closest person to me was on three kills. Somewhere north of 2000xp and 10k credits

the 85b is such a dog. I just ground through that AFAP to get to the 85, where the 107mm death ray is an option.

The russian TD's have pretty terrible armor, so you have to be sneaky with them.

enjoyed the platoon last night Smurf. And thinks for the info. it's one thing to read it but it's a whole other thing to hear it from someone that has figured it out.

Yeah, thanks for the help in the platoon. Not a problem on the info....I like helping make somebody else understand and enjoy the game more.

I have finally kitted out my Grille. Having a lot of fun, even though some of the bigger tanks (8s) are sometimes a hard nut to crack indeed. Couple times I have had it happen that teammates started killing tanks on their own team (intentionally). Always gets me close to nerdraging...

I've only seen this once. I lower tier (blue)tank had evidently already killed one of our teammates and was following my KV, shooting at my engine compartment. I didn't know how the whole TK-blue-name thing worked and when I asked why this FF was shooting me, a team-mate said you can shoot blue tanks without incurring any penalty. To prove this he spun his gun and wasted the offender. From now on if your blue I'm shooting, unless you're arty because that happens.

I sometimes take this to another level... if you shoot me and im in a bad mood, i will kill your tank... of course this can sometimes result in a 24 hour cool off period...

I'm glad somebody besides me recognizes this.....I hate it when I take an arty shot and have a "teammate" rush up and facehug my target while the shell is in the air. I always try to mark my targets if my guys are close, so if they get killed after I told them I was shooting, well, it ain't my fault that you stepped in front of my shell, now is it?

Good point, informing team mates about danger close arty fire. I haven't thought of that.

After a few weeks of play, I finally started a line of German TDs. I just can't bring myself to play defense. Rolling into an advanced position and popping big ones is just too much fun.
