Seems a shame to have to dismiss a good arty crew, but I can't see playing higher-tier arty ever again.
I'll see what they do. With the M40/43 the load time and aiming time are pretty slow and I only get 5 shots a game. Most of the time I'll just counter, I tend to damage the opfor arty, but rarely get a kill. I haven't had time to play the 203mm much yet, but it's 4800 a shot so I'm not splashing rounds willy-nilly. I'd like to know what sort of player can get all those one shot kills on arty, I sure in the heck can't do it.

I have the tier 7 American and the SU26 at tier 3 for arty, I was having a blast (pun intended) in the M7 Priest for the longest time, but that got a nerf and my win/destruction rate took a nose dive so I sold it.

I've been playing the TD's more as my PC won't power through playing lights/mediums without a huge hit in frame rate.

I'm not a fan of playing heavy tanks.

Sorry I did it again....bringing this up and not linking the changes....here they are

I think some of this has happened, as I see less arty in the game (could be people are not playing it) I think they have not done anything to the armor yet or HP, as I hit one with the JS3 and did zero damage to it....but i have seen manay ramming them lately.

anyway on to the posted changes.

Personally I don't give a rip for the chinese tanks.....what we need are some new maps....or even bring back some of the old ones.

guess they don't like us racking up 9-10 kills with the su-26. Heck, if you DON'T rack up 9-10 kills with the su-26, you're playing it wrong.

Word. 4 less rounds and slower traverse? That may make it easier to track moving tanks now though as the dispersal rate on turret traverse didn't change. .4 seconds to reloading speed isn't that big a deal either. I've got a 200% crew + rammer on mine

I'm concerned about the "unwritten" fixes.

The French arty always seemed too accurate/powerful to me.

Worst thing I ever did was memorize my credit-card number.

While my TOG is climbing a hill, I can ALT-TAB out.. go to the World of Tanks portal and purchase some gold and then ALT-TAB back to my TOG before it has run into anything

I'm looking forward to the expiration of my credit card in March - I won't know the new one's number by heart

Interesting. I have been enjoying the Hummel, and am grinding the crew. Unlocked the GWPanther, and was going to skip it for the GWTiger, for the massive gun damage - but you say it's no fun? I wanted something that hit harder than the S-51, and nothing in the Russian line does that.

Word on the street is that GWP is the best arty in the game. It would be like skipping the KV-1S or the T-29. Don't miss out!

The GWP should not be skipped.

I agree that the two to have in the stable, if you're going to keep them and not use them for clan wars, are the GWP and S-51. Third would be the Grille for the medium tank companies.

I really liked the Hummel, too. I would get a lot of accolades for my use of it and the shots I was making / tanks I was killing.

It's all mute, now, though. Save for tank companies (tier 8's may use hummels, Mediums use Grilles), I just won't play them for randoms anymore.

Moot. /klay

Skid and I discovered that his super pershing and the hummel made a great platoon pairing, always put him near the top, and I was able to kill just about anything in the game. I may keep it, and just shuttle the crew back and forth.

Is there indeed no point in a super-arty, though, for Tier X battles?

Currently, there are way too many folk with T7/T8 arty. This is happening way to often. Even with upcoming nerfs that is unlikely to change.

And those both look like the Russian server - what about the NA? Got any examples like that, not in Cyrillic?

The second one is the NA server. Check the replay sites. Almost every match has at least 6 arty, and many have 8 or more. These two are from the first page of GWTiger replays.

Way to many to make for a fun match.
