I found the same to be true of the T44 in that the 100 gun is all around better weapon than the 122 option. I'm always going to try the biggest hammer for the shock and awe factor, I just can't fixate on it.
Many agree with you about the 120 being better. I'm finding the same as they that, if unsupported, proficient enemies know it takes the 155mm like 17 seconds to reload, so they go around the T30 and shoot it in the side or rear.

I'm not going to say the 120mm is better, or that the 155 serves an ineffective bigger is better mentality to the degree that, say, the E-100 gun does vs. the Maus gun when placed on the E-100, because I've used the 155mm to some very impressive effects, but the 120mm is easier to live with... especially if you use Gold rounds.

I fell short on my weekend grind to 400k XP...(I figure I better spend my evening with the Mrs. before she votes me off the island)

379K:

Should be able to get there in the next couple of days worth of x2's.

Then the grind to 6 million+ coins begins

Thanks for all the help this weekend

Traded up the E8 for the super pershing, moved the crew over. Getting used to it, but wanted a VIII Premium in the shop.

Smurf, sorry man - I was literally exhausted last evening after coming home from work. I even told the guys I was platooned with that I was barely playing/focusing, and agreed to just keep doing tier 7's instead of daring to put myself into something higher and then royally screw up.

That's cool to know we fought together, lol, even though I was in 'drone' mode and didn't see ya behind me

Good job on that win, sir

Maybe the next time if you put FYYFFYYFYYFYYYYFYYFFFFFFYYFYYFYYFYF in all capitals in team chat it may catch my weary eye?

Maybe even do it a few times

I have a couple tanks that have a 30 something percent win. I try to win, but the deck is stacked against me.

I was using HE rounds to great effect yesterday. I generally don't use HE very often, but wanted to try different tactics and stuff. Needless to say I was surprised at how much damage the 85 onthe SU85 can do with HE on heavy armor. I changed my loadout from 5 to 12 rounds.

Also, first time ever! On Serne Coast a Lowe was sitting on the west hill out in the open sniping at my team mates so I zeroed my m40/43 sight on him, let it shrink to it's smallest and BANG! One shotted him! I've never one shotted a heavy before. I've done it to open topped TD's and lights on occasion, but Meds and Heavies take quite a pounding.

Actually, I made 30k and 1500xp on that battle and we lost. For some reason, that battle I was on and did some decent hits for damage.

That feels really good, doesn't it.... I remember the first time I did that with my S-51. Took out a 60% health E-75 with one shot. It's a neat way to say "Hi there".

Ain't no big deal.....I just figured that you were focused on what you were doing. It ain't like I did much that battle. You did most of the heavy lifting.

And then they make it their game-span-life-goal to take you out...

I love being one-shotted in my IS3. Love it. Can't get enough of it.

I do like the t29 with the boomstick. Too bad that credit thing was interrupted by me going outside.

He was down to 200 hit points and bitched because you finished him off with one shot?

Loser.

What did you hit him with?

The HEAT round on the M40/43 will take 50% of the life on on most everything from the front. But that will be your last shot of the game

I hit a BatChat25 that just went straight for arty, bypassing all others. He came straight at me and I hit him in the face and knocked him down to 10% with a 203 round, but not a HEAt round Only got to shoot once that battle

This maneuver cracked me up yesterday.

Also, thanks again to Ed for the shot in the back!
