Geek, I really hate your screen shots. It makes my graphics look really, really pathetic.

I'd have to buy another power supply for that thing!

Still, a good investment!

I built this machine about 2-1/2 years ago, and I made sure to put in a big power supply when I did it.

Good planning there. When dealing with a flaky custom PC, nothing is a bigger PITA to nail down than a weak PSU.

Congrats!

That is a GREAT card for 1920x1080 gaming. Jarrod picked one up recently too.
I think that is one of the best bangs for the buck going. I have a couple of EVGA cards in this machine now and an EVGA motherboard (so I'm a big fan of their stuff)..

For other's shopping for video cards; any of the x6x cards are perfect for 1920 play... an x7x, x8x or x9x would be overkill.
When running 2560x1600 you need to jump up to the x75 x80 or x90 cards to be able to peg everything.

The 6xx series cards are really great for having lower power consumption
My GeForce GTX 580 is a beast... but not being a 6 series I think I could heat the house with it

My hope is that all the idiots will spend the weekend playing low tier on the Chinese line so that gaming will get better at high tier for a little while.

I suspect 8.3 might see the return of the Type59 as purchasable (part of the chinese tech tree)?
