Finally unlocked my first tier 9, the E50. Now only 3 million more credits to go until I can buy it. I foresee a good run with the Type 59 for a few nights in my future.

I may have to give these a try.
I got a Creative HS-800 Fatal1ty set for xmas and they are now 1/2 dead (mic works, very little sound).
Might not be the headsets fault as the kids were messing with them.
It may just be the volume wheel, but still...

I run a Turtle Beach PX3. Yeah, it's expensive....SWMBO gave it to me last year as a birthday present.

I'm using a set of bose with noise cancellation - only issue with them is when I get excited I talk way to loud and the Mrs has to throw things at me to get me to shut up (because I can't hear her ). They were a few hundred bucks but I use them when flying & stuff too when I want some peace and quiet so they've been money well spent.

One thing I like about them is the "quick release" at the headphone itself.. so if you trip over the cord or what-not, it just unplugs without damage.

I have some bluetooth ones too.. but I'm not a fan of battery management nor the decreased sound quality.

I've had this setup for a while and like it but if I had to replace it I'd probably go with some Sennheiser HD 598s or 650s.

My Creative set got good reviews, no one had any issues, and I like them.
I suspect the volume wheel got turned up to 11 or down to -1.

Obviously, I'll run in a Type platoon with you anytime we're on together. I can always use the creds......and another Tier 9 in the clan to play with.

And I was going back and looking at this graphic....



....and I realized that the three of us together scored more xp than their top 13 players combined.

Holy shit. I didn't notice that. I always find it weird now looking at screenshots that show the percentage of life left. It seems like such a useless statistic. I really like the mod that shows damage done in that column instead. If I remember correctly, the 3 of us did over 7k in combined damage.

I think I have it, but I don't know which one did it... and it is only for your team. The mod I think also put the damage delt and the net credits on the front page of the end of battle report.
