Standard AP rounds for the BL-10 are 1650/shot. APCR rounds are 4000 silver (10 gold)/shot.

Well, that explains it.
There is a new algorithm for efficiency, and I have to live with a 1290 efficiency for now. Consider me the sand-bagger, now, bitches. I came up against some legion members when playing my T30 just now who had far and away better rankings than I. One was even in a T30 as well... so I figured this was going to go quite poorly or would, at least, be a test of skills. HAVOK and BAD are all in the same group as I am in - The Burning Legion. It's kind of like a super-sized clan I guess. Luckily we didn't meet at first. Instead, my route's guys were held up while some major TD's were blocking us from advancing. With a little help I cleaned them out. This SS makes it look like I was behind, but I was so far forward during the fighting that I was getting spotting-damage points as well. ![]() It was finally time to face the music. Somewhere up there was that T30. Found him, but we had to play a game around the building to see who would get the best shots. ![]() Looks like I did. ![]() Lastly, I leave y'all with a comical comment by our team's 46% 13 90 driver who not only sat back during the entire game, but didn't even place himself to be in a sniping-capable position. ... He just hid behind a rock. ... I suggested that he at least try to spot someone. Then, when our 13 90 had still done nothing while the opposing team's 13 90 raced across the map and sat under our cliffs to proxy-spot my team's hill-sitters... I politely pointed out that that was an effective use of a 13 90, and theirs was being very beneficial to their team. So what does ours do? Only because he finally sees the only other light tank lit up on the map, he decided he should engage it - which completely lit him up and had him in the open for the OPFOR to snipe at. ![]() Believe it or not, that battle dwindled down to their tier tens and nines, and my team with only myself and three arty. Arty got picked off one by one, but I held out against the E-100 and a 704 to make the game a Draw. It was all I could do with a team like that.

In case someone asks, this is a Russian-to-English translation of the page WOTlabs.net said was the explanation of the change in efficiency ratings.
I must be at the very far end of this plus or minus 50 points change. I haven't spoken to anyone who had theirs change as much as mine, but I also haven't spoken to anyone who said their efficiency went up from the new calculation.

Any advice for staying hidden? I'm using German tanks, mostly mediums, I see most tanks have a lower profile. I don't know if it's my profile, or I just am not as hidden as I think.
I am realizing that, even when I'm sitting in the brush somewhere, assuming no one can see me, they often can.

If you fire your gun, all bushes in a 15m radius of you "disappear" from your camo value; so back away from the bush you are hiding behind further for starters...

I should have mentioned, I do have a net. I don't always have it on the tank I'm playing though.
Alot of the time I'll be detected as I creep from bush to bush, thinking I'm hidden. Someone somewhere see's me, I rarely get shown the tank that got me. I have tried to watch how others play. I see alot of the same kind of playing I do. I'm probably expecting to much from myself.

Ok, maybe it isn't, lol. --- LOL, I'm watching that tier 9 battle now, and the commentary by the T-50 is hilarious. To anyone else watching it, true teamwork comes at about 13:25 when I asked Brian to use his faster firing gun to shoot the pickup truck out of the way ahead of me, and he does so without even asking why. With a 17.71 second reload, but boat-loads of damage, wasting a T30 shot on a truck to get it out of the way isn't as good of an idea as using a M103 middle-level gun's shot to do so. And that's worth remembering... Brian's doing super with the M103 and I don't think he even has the biggest gun yet ![]() ---------- Requisite la bomba ammo-rack screen shot from our tier 9 battle... always a highlight to my day.
