Woohoo! Another Russian TD to train my OBJ 268 crew with

DOH! 6 crew members. I guess i'll be running it with "accelerated crew training" on for a while until the bugger gets to BIA with the rest of the crew.

^^ SU-152/TOG II love-child? The few I've seen have all looked slow, clumsy and died early. Must have a wicked gun.

At least I made an impression on my first showing for practice after re-joining. I've been playing ... not the greatest lately. But I feel more solid when I'm with a clan that's solid. Sure, I died, but I did some work before leaving, and got a respectable amount of damage before arty finally stopped missing me.

In the next training I did just about the very same damage and got just about the very same higher spot in damage-ranking for the team (third the first time, fourth the second time). I'm OK with that.

2 rounds with it.. both wins.
First round fired the gun 3 times and got 2 kills - 1000 damage. Crazy for Tier 6!
I think the matchmaker is nice to you when you buy a gold tank for the first 10 rounds or so.. Tier 6 with a 400+ damage gun ... and I drew tier 6's both rounds

...then I played the TOG and had 4 kills and lost

After dealing with all these damn updates, I'm getting tired of having to download mods again. I just copied what is in the old res_mods folder to new and hope for the best!

And as I was about to post this, it didn't work! Dammit! Guess I'm starting with roughnecks again and finding the mods I like for the next week.

Didn't work, I must have something in there that doesn't want to play with 8.4. I can't get past the loading screen.

My Hetzer was one of two remaining on my side tonight.
The other guy stopped the cap and killed the next-to-last player on the other side, while I slowly made it over towards the enemy base.

Some trash talking dead team mate thought I should do something else, what I have no idea, my slow ass Hetzer wasn't going to stop cap.

Before I make it to their base their last arty and I spot each other, dead team mate says "Dead Hetzer". Arty misses, I kill him for the win and just have time for a "fu" in chat before the match ends. That made me giggle.

How do you guys deal with trash talking dead team mates? I never have time during the match to respond. I suppose I could stop playing to respond, that might make their head explode.

once the game starts I rarely see the chat. but when I do, its usually some dead asshole saying the whole team sucks (sometimes its me ) and barking orders.

once in awhile they are helpful.

I consider what they're saying, instantly read their win ratio, and make a decision.

If you don't have XVM, and yet have someone who win a lot telling you something, it can come in handy to make the right choices. Again, XVM can be used a myriad of ways, and besides deciding who to listen to (or follow if someone uses the "SpearFisher Follow me!" command), is who to support in a push, which route to go to to cover, or who to attempt to kill first if given the choice.

98% of the time... no, 99.5% of the time... it's some 47% or 45%'er making comments. Those I'd ignore.

One game I'm running my T95, we have two arty, against an E50, 25t, and another tank I forget.

Some --- decided to post in the clear about worrying about the north...after which the enemy found my arty, and then later they found me.

At least I got an E50 out of the deal....

In the past two weeks I have averaged a 67% win ratio.

I predict after typing that out loud that I'll lose 80% for the next 4 days
