I really like this tank, it is like a mini T95, with a very small gun.
I bought one, and hate it. I'm selling it tonight.

I have fun. I give 1/2 a shit about the squabbling. you don't have to spend real money (but I do). It's free. It's fun. If you don't like it, uninstall.

The childishness and squabbling was what drove me away from online gaming in the first place (think mechwarrior 4 era). This seems like a game that would attract a more.....mature audience? Is this the game for me?

I sometimes dont have time to play more than an hour a week, but sometimes will get a day off to just mess around on the computer too. Is the learning curve steep?

Again, I know nothing about the game. But tank sims have been swirling in my head lately. Suggestions for starting out, etc?

Thanks in advance!

Or my ST1.

It is definitely not for everyone, the gun is very low powered, it turns very slowly and is a slug, but unless you know where to hit it it is the anti-derpipotomous. I have yet to have a game in it where I have received less than 10 hits, most have been 30 plus. Hell I had one game where the potential damage received was 4500!

sent from my abacus.

Wait, I thought it was a gun of 1000 pin pricks, not a derp gun?

Are you mixing up the terms, or does it have a derp gun?

I was just perusing that AR-15 thread that bergen linked to yesterday and a few more hints were dropped last night. Sounds like a major tank sale might be coming, like Tier 9 and 10 major, but that's reading between the lines and might be wrong. Just in case, I'm probably going to delay my E5 purchase until more details pop up.

AT-2 does have a derp available. It hits hard (with gold rounds), but it's terribly inaccurate and the shells fly only slightly faster than a glacier. Stick with the 6 pound needle gun on this one.

You'll find plenty of whining in this game too. People who think they're better than you trying to tell you what to do.
If you ignore the chat in the bottom left corner you'll have far more fun.

It is a great game - and free to try - so no reason not to! And we have a great group of FYYFF's here on ADV you can platoon with.

With a little more thought, it might not be as major as 10's, but I'd bet on at least 8's and 9's......

the armor of the tank on it's own, in the right conditions, is the anti-derp against the M4's, Hetzer's, and PZ 4's. Yes the gun is death by a thousand needles, but the armor is not.
