Feck 3 for 12 tonight. Tried grinding credits in the 4502p with the special, but just got smoked almost every battle.

The T28 is paying more per battle than the special on the 4502!

I was able to pull it off by selling my IS and T1 HT, I now have an IS-3 in the garage, and a crew trained for it... now the grind to get the better stuff in it... Does anyone know which way I should grind it? such as gun first then tracks and turret... I know the turret is a big improvement, and so is the gun, is this one that the tracks are needed for the turret?

You don't need suspension on the IS-3, engine and radio should already be researched via the IS, so turret and gun in whatever order you chose. I prefer turret first on this one because it is much, much better armored, and it's shape gets you bounces on top of it.

Thanks, and yeah the radio and engine were already researched from the IS, I was mainly concerned that that big upgrade in armor on the 2nd turret would take it over the weight limit for the tracks.

Edit: I just realized I could have looked it up on the Wiki and found the answer for my question... sorry.

OK, so I've been playing for about a month now, noobmeter has me less than proudly situated in the bad column though my recent stats show what I like to believe is some nice improvement. Tiers 4 & 5, mostly just playing M4, Churchill I and my slow little Matilda.

That Matilda is actually one of my favorites, she'll take a beating and make some silver which makes up for my Churchill which doesn't make much profit at times.

Anyway, user name is c_j_r_o and if you see me...well just don't shoot me.

The Matilda is and awesome tank, great armor for it's tier and a good penetrating gun.

Skidmarx and Smithy among others showed me some basics last night and I managed to use them more effectively while substantially more sober this morning.

Won a bunch of medals sniping with the T18, just need to grind til I get the howitzer so I can really mess people up. And the T26 is quite enjoyable as well. Far more so than the tier 1 light tanks.

Pew! Pew!

So, I'm in a game with my IS-3. I'm capping, alone, and a type 59 comes up near the end and puts two into me. Slight damage, but it didn't reset the counter at all, and we promptly won. He opened a chat accusing me of cheating, and I politely mentioned I used no cheats, he said he was sending the replay to WG, and I said fine, but I wasn't cheating, and not every hit resets a counter.

He maintained that with 2 solid side hits, taking damage, at least one of them should have. I perused the wiki, and found nothing but support for his point.

So now I'm curious how it worked out that way, in case I ever have to answer for it again. I don't mind the amusement of people claiming a cheat against good play, but in this case, I'd be suspicious if I were in his shoes. What gives, I wonder?

Unfortunately the Howitzer on the T18 has something like a .53 accuracy.. so you can't hit someone unless you shove it up their arse

...UNTIL you have vents for the crew... and then if you add Brothers In Arms to the crew it becomes a derpopotimus (tm smithy)

I'll look for you next time I'm playing; I love clubbing seals with my T18

You sure he did damage? It should have reset the counter if he did, but if he bounced them, it wouldn't. Besides, all those calcs are kept server side, so unless you're an uber-hacker that has a line into Wargaming's server........
