its all about the scoreboard....

Got a KV-3 last night for use while taking breaks from tax prep. Slow as hell, but fun to march right into battle and one-shot tanks. Once it gets there. There were a few battles where the fighting was over by the time I got there.

This bot thing has me thinking...I wonder if it is why I seem to see so many AFK tanks in battles, on both sides.

Last night both of our top tier tanks were AFK....other guys on my team are telling the bad guys where to find them...they never moved.....give him a repair bill at least they typed.

I have stumbled across a few that just sit there at the spawn.....I know stuff happens and you have to leave the game...heck in the middle of a game my dog started to puke and that left me away....when I got back my team was a little pissed....oh now he moves they typed.

But the tanks that never move...I wonder if they are just building points.

5X points is sure nice....and I made over $400,000 in just a hour or two of playing last night after putting in the code....is the code a one time deal or can you put it in again the next day?

Yes it is....but actually just playing the game is fun for me as long as I get in matches where I have a chance....funny thing is tho after I put the code in I did get good matches....kinda makes me think something is up...my tanks are in the top half for every game...hmmmm.

Holy crap, a clean sweep. That's awful.

This 5x XP business has been great for me. Of course, I have 6 elite tanks and don't mind flipping xp with gold, so my main vehicles have been benefiting nicely.

3rd battle with a barely upgraded Wolverine on the second account, earned the Ace Tanker mastery badge-thing-award-whatever. I was a sniping-fool Friday morning, and had great luck and a lot of wins.

re: the Hellcat - maybe the drivers are still getting used to them, or maybe they can't do what they did in real life, but I've killed far more of them than they've even pestered or hit me. My thinking is that a better "Hellcat" is the AMX 13 90, or even the 13 75, for the speed and aggressive orbiting to destroy targets. I haven't played one yet, but based on reviews it seems that the in-game Hellcat is only good for getting to snipe points fast, then holding there... where-as the original real-life Hellcat used its speed to avoid getting hit while attacking (like an AMX does).

As I learn to wait for the right situation before choosing what to do next (i.e. scout, rush or attack), I am learning to really like the AMX12t, so I'm looking forward to the AMX 13 75.

I'm feeling the rush to try to unlock the KV-3 on the second account now for the next patch... then to afford it. I can't believe I upgraded the KV as much as I have with as few games as I've played, but that x5 XP helps a ton.

I seemed to do pretty good with the x5, i'm getting an american HT line going, a french HT line.. which is awful because their low end tanks are worse than worthless, close to an SU-100, and kickin ass with my 85. I no longer fear KV's, and paradoxically the american HT's are no problem for the 107. Only the tigers and real big heavy tanks with good armor do i run scared from.

Only thing going for me was being the lowest tank on our team. Imagine how the top tier guys felt.

I feel bad for ya, too.

I've always hoped to have a clean-sweep, but we always seems to lose one there at the end. The last time I was close was yesterday... and I was that one guy there at the end. Great game, and I lost my tank because I was the aggressor, but ...

On the flip-side, I've all too often been the one who prevented a clean-sweep of my team from happening with one or two kills.

...

I am convinced that there is a hoard of ten- to twelve-year-olds with tier 8 and 9 tanks who feel no remorse for playing utterly lame-brained tactics and losing. In fact, I couldn't enter a random battle at all today without them being on my team, where-as the other team usually had a few tanks that cared.

The Bday special was a really nice touch. Got me a set of binocs and with the 24h free premium I grinded enough XP and silver to swap my T-28 for a KV and am now close to equip it with the big turret and the 107mm ZiS-6.
