I did that a week or so ago, it's pretty cool.

I do appreciate the history they pack into the details of the game, like this. I likely would never have learned of Comrade Fadin otherwise.

Game physics are a little screwy. Had a Lowe destroy my motor through the side of a hill tonight. Unless the 3/4 has the engine between the front track wheels.

The engine may be in the front on that one. Many well-designed tanks started doing that to put more steel between the crew and the frontal impact zone.

I agree - nice match Steel, I guess you're getting good penetration with the SU-85 then.

I'm enjoying playing the VK 3601, now I'm at a cross roads.
Do I go the heavy route with the Pz VI Tiger? Or stay in the mediums and get a VK 3002?
Eventually I could get both, but I'm torn as to which to get first.

I'd go the 3002DB for fun. The Tiger was just pain to get through (what a shame - Russian devs, who are questionably the bastarded grandchildren of German soldiers, made the game though). Unless you have a goal of shooting up to the Tiger II and beyond in short order, try out the 3002. I haven't tried it, but I've seen enemy 3002's creating havoc on the battlefields. I've never seen the same out of a Tiger (Tiger P, on the other hand, seems like a winner).

Last I read they changed the Tiger a little to bounce a few more shots now... so I could be wrong.

------------

In other news... I'm finding it isn't uncommon to run out of shells with the Hellcat. I guess I need to change my role to take a chance and charge arty before I run out. The last game I played with it i did finally charge, with no ammo, and found a M37 arty. I tried ramming him a few times, but that just ended up taking a miniscule amount of HP off of both of us each time. Embarrassing.

That tank can take a pounding. And it didn't cost me a dime.

I'm also learning where to aim my shots on the big baddies too. I try to always track them if they're sideways to me, then they're mincemeat... as long as they're far enough away that they can't see me. As soon as I see that turret start turning towards me I run like a at with its ass on fire!

RUN AWAAAAY!!
