Had a few good and some that made me want to toss the PC out the window. Bounced 4 88 shells off a sherman and called it a night after that.

Evenin', Gents. Thought you may appreciate this. Logged in to just do daily doubles... had what some may consider an amazing game. Actually, it's probably more that most of the players on both sides just sucked...

Long story short,

Ouch, only 5 shots left, and only have HE left at that. Non-premium account, so those are straight credits

and in case you're curious about the spread and talent within the battle:

edit: when I say 'sucked' - let me clarify... my team's top tanks sucked, and none were with me at all for my route. Both teams' Lowes sucked, predictably. My team's lower guys did OK (even that T29 who was solo against the IS-4, no kills for him, but he really helped), and while the Hummel was AFK the whole game (that hurt us), the M41 did his best to support my lone charge. I feel bad for saying "talent," above, because kills don't show the talent present.

Thanks guys - to be honest, you can see the parts of some HitZone skin on my tank there, but ... I really don't use it. It just came with a package of mods and got installed.

My games, and this one in particular, are more like
distance shot T34, aim low for hull
distance shot T34, aim low for hull
KV-5 R2D2
KV-5 R2D2
TD lower glacis
KV-5 R2D2
TD lower glacis
KV-5 R2D2
Lowe side
Lowe side
Lowe lower glacis
Arty - just hit the F'n thing, hope it dies
Lowe lower glacis
Arty, die you mother Eff'er and stop taking TD shots at me 'cause they hurt
ARL 44 center-of-mass-shot
IS4 side-shot
IS4 side-shot
IS4 side-shot
etc.
- None of which the skins get used for

It just really comes down to either trying to hit a hull at distance, or hitting where I know I have a good chance up close.

I've got the hitzone skins loaded up too. Like you say, after a while you don't need them. Most of it's no brainer stuff. Hit them in them in the engine area(rear and side), lower glacis on most tanks are weak.
If shooting from above, top hatch is also good and easy to spot.

2 things I definitely got from the skins.

1. Shoot the Type 59 dead nuts in the front of the hull it has a nice + shaped weak spot there.
2. T29 & T95. If you can't shoot them in the back half don't bother. Anywhere in the back half will do though.

Nice, I'm going to have to take a look at the Type 59 skin then - I see them and fight them a LOT, but still don't know about the real unique areas to hit them on. Thanks!

As for the last two, especially the T95, if I'm frontal and can take a shot without too much worry, aim for a frontal track wheel. The things are slow enough already - slowing one down further mid-field, or in a city where a team-mate may very well be able to take the opportunity to get up beside it (I do as much as possible when some awesome teammate tracks one) - is a great way to rid yourself of the nuisance. Just got to be ready to see it's tracked and run to it fast - those T-95 guys train the repair skill for all crew members and can repair a broken track fast. A medium or small support-tank following such an attack really becomes useful when they use their speed to get up beside a T95, tracked or not, to lock them at some angle.

Another great battle.
M7 on Abby for my 2x game
They were a good team, but didn't send enough to the Abby. i did a lot of damage from up there.
We we were down to a tier 3 PZ and I in our base, and an Arty and Churchill on their side. I can kill a Churchill with the M7, but it takes time and I was already damaged. The Pz stayed at base, and I went west hoping I wouldn't run into the Churchill and maybe spot him camping their base. I got lucky and he wasn't there. Got into base and killed the arty that was dumb enough to stay there.
At the same time, the Churchill got to our base. We were headed for a draw, and the Pz got a hit on him. Looks like the Pz even lived through it.

I thought last night was going to be worthless.....logged on for my daily doubles and went 2-5 in my first 7 matches.

Then I went on a 6 match win streak and finished 8-6. The only tank in the stable that I didn't double was my BT-7 which is no big deal since it's already elite.

No, dammit, the winner on the other team got 8 kills in a Tet. He and I ruled the game, though.
