The overlook on Engineer. My top subframe bolts seperated about 100yards down the other side

The rear brake worked out great. sucked that his went south on the very first day, but ADV to the rescue!

Snapped my footpeg in half on the way up to, I think, California Gulch. Right after a little old town they are restoring. Anyway, tried to go up the switchback on the inside line. The bike had no power at that altitude and I ended up dropping it. Twice.

Awesome time though, with the exception of the downhill of Hayden's pass That section took us a long time. Timichi up was a bitch too, but more fun if us carb'd guys had more power and my fuel wasn't boiling everywhere

Nice :) that ghost town is called "Animas Fork" - after you went over California (12,930) you could then see the lake.. did you drop down Pougkeepsie or did you go up over Hurricane Pass next?

I've ridden a street bike with knobbies on it over both of those

Tomichi/Hancock can be a real workout if the jeeps have been through and broken all the watermellon rocks loose. I've done them in the dark and in a lightening storm

Hayden on the west side is always a baby head rolly polly fun time - I've got tons of pics of ADV'ers bikes laying on the ground

Did you guys run the Monarch single track when connecting Hayden over to Tomichi Hancock?

I'm on the Husqvarna TE610 (2nd from left) in the photo below:

I tried once. I didn't have the technique down.

We went on to Hurricane after. Honestly until I read the ride report I won't remember where we went as Cannonshot was the man with the plan

No singletrack. The bikes were a SuperEnduro, a 990 Adv, my 950 Adv, NC700, Cagiva Gran Canyon and SuperTenere. Not suited to some of the stuff we rode to say the least. Probably go back in a couple years on small bikes and enjoy those trails a lot more

There couldn't have been a nicer spot to rebolt a subframe together
Much better than replacing the SE's fuel pump in 90degree sunshine with no cover around

Originally planned to do Blackbear, but with my half footpeg and the low ground clearance of the Tenere and NC, it was voted out.

On the way up to Hancock, the guy on the Cagiva tipped the bike upside down over the edge

I had a great round in my T28 Prototype. It started with some serious whiners on our team complaining about "fail teams" and what not. An ISU152 and I flanked their last two heavies, and a TD (yes, I used the T28 to flank ).

Top that off with good commo between the two of us (where the enemy was looking, tracks, etc etc) and it was one of my favorite rounds in this game so far.

Ended with 23 hit points to my name.

Picked up a new old computer today. If by chance WoT runs on it better than the laptop, I'll stick with it as my gaming system.

Anyone have a PCI Express video card hanging around that they want to get rid of? I have a v1.0 16x slot and an old Fire GL 128MB in there now.

EDIT...PXE boot saves the day; the DVD writer on my laptop is busted so I can't burn the OS install.
