Going on a road trip really screws up the gaming time.....

So, I only played one battle last night. Took the KV-3 out into a Tier 9 battle (3 E-75's at the top of my side, two of them at the top of the other side) on Ruinberg. From the south end, I decided to go into town. I followed a Panther II hard left and parked on the south side of the church. Didn't take long for a Type 59 to whip around the corner right into our guns. We spanked him hard (and I got the kill, boy that felt good). We then tag teamed a Slugger and made the IS with him retreat. Traded a few shots with one of the E-75's and a couple of others, then the two of us ran up the west side of the map toward the cap, along with an ARL. We get there and a JagdPanther showed up. He was working hard to reset us, but he only got two rounds off before I put one through his vision slit and put him out of our misery. Ended up with 2800xp and 37K gross credits. Figured that was as good as it was going to get last night, so I went to bed.

I joined a clan and participated in clan wars for landing of a province last night.

I don't usually disagree with people in clans on the first day, but someone in the clan wanted to included a tier 2 M2MT just as an extra scout in a clan wars battle..

At the last minute before the battle, new recruit with a tier 8 joined in the battle to replace the tier 2, but we still got clobbered by three E100, two Maus, E75, T-54, Tigere II, IS-3, etc.. our whole team got whipped out with only 2 casualties in enemy team.

Traininng room battles were more fun...

Had my AMX out last night, snuck up with a T29 onto a nearly abandoned enemy base, slew everything that was before us before a 12t killed me, had a substantial lead in kills, and what does the rest of my team do?

Bring up ALL their heavies - including arty (an m41) - and don't do squat to find the enemy arty and kill it! Or flank the KV5 that was picking them off one at a time.

Needless to say we went from "this game is over, all that's left is to mop up" to one of the most ignominious defeats I've experienced in a long time.

I played a bit last night to finish off my 2x stuff. I had to run down and ram a T30 with my M12. Face full off 155, then hit im. Back up, hit im again. Yeah, he shot me finally.

Sold the Hetzer off and rebought the PzKpfw 38 nA. Come to find out, they both suck. The 50mm just bounces off everything.

Playing arty at Himmlesdorf sucks bad.

I have been training up my two french crews...looks like it is time to buy them a new ride.

I think I am one of the few that like the amx40 (why do I always think of the AMC car when I see AMX)

I am also god like in the H35 (I think)....so I don't think I will be selling those. In those low tier battles you can see how crew quality does make a difference, shells will fly everywhere and everyone of yours will hit with a good crew.....have the same luck in the higher tiers it is just that the shells pen with no damage or bounce off...I don't have a crew below 85% anymore...and they hit pretty well....they are in my new sherman.

I was thinking that the 76 in the sherman would be pretty good....nope went back to the big gun that can't hit anything that is way out there....I may give it a try again this weekend....can't do anything else anyway.

Well thats ghey, im 9k xp from the 13 90 but im going away to Amsterdam this weekend... Ah well I suspect a good time will be had anyways.

I have to learn to wait to see how the battle forms up. I kept playing scout last night and it's too expensive to repair for that kind of play.

You got that right
I have a lot of trouble with this when mm puts me at the very top. It makes me feel like I should be out front leading the charge. I'm usually quickly reminded that it's a BAD idea.
I have the same problem in all of my tanks since none of them are front line tanks/TDs. The M26 is the worst for me though because it can take a bit of a beating and I can get in WAY too deep.

Ok paint me dumb, but I'm confused aobut the crew training thing. I have a 100% crew in my SU-85, what happens if I transfer them over to the 100 or 152? Do I have to retrain them?

When they get to 100% you can start to train them with special skills....but after you move them to a new tank you do have to train them again....you can spend gold and keep them at 100% (I think) or spend silver and loose 20-30% or something to that effect.

Yeah, it's 20k silver per 100% crewman to keep him at 90% for the same sized tank within the line, or 20k silver that would put a 100% to 80% if moving up from, say, a medium to a heavy class within the same line.

If you ever have and crewman who have the + signs next to their name (like after a patch) with built-up experience that you haven't chosen a specialty for... CHOOSE a specialty BEFORE retraining them for the next tank to 90% or 80%. I didn't do that for two crewmen who had their skill points given back to them due to the patch, and two of them lost the ~30% to 50% training I could have applied to camo, or some other specialty, before training them for the new tank.
