News from the front......the Game creator says one day World Of Tanks,World Of WarPlanes, and World Of Battleships will be integrated for mega clan wars........

Quote:
Wargaming.net: The games will be integrated on two main levels. With the launch of World of Warplanes, players will get a unified account that will allow them to channel Free Experience and Gold between the two titles. As soon as World of Battleships is live, it will be integrated into the common economic system as well. On the meta-level, Clans from World of Warplanes and World of Tanks will have connected missions on the Global Map. For example, World of Warplanes players struggling for air control over sectors of the Clan wars’ map will be able to buy ground support from tank clans, while tankers will be able to call in airstrikes and both will have a chance to pay and arrange for bombardments from warships off the coast. This is going to become the circle of mutual help.

Holy Christ, some games just suck.

Was working for my 2x in my SU-26, Mines, mid-ranked. Killed 7 of the enemy, and ended up running out of ammo and settling for a draw against a loaded but chicken Priest camping at his base, mano-a-mano.

18k credits, but only 700xp.

Now the real shitty news: follow up battle, I ended up getting disconnected halfway through, no kills, but our team won for a 2x total of 366xp.

I am beginning to wonder if this thing's rigged...

Just had some asshole on my team in a Jagdtiger take a shot at me because I wouldn't move away from the spot he wanted. Said I was messing up his camo.
If he would have stayed still I may have believed him. Doesn't help that he was also out in the open.
It wasn't even a good TD spot, You had to move out from behind a rock to shoot.

I did the math, those things have crap base camo so it wouldn't have mattered anyway. In fact, my Pershing had almost as good camo as he would have had if he was maxed out.

Right after he shot me, he got killed because he was pointed at me and not the IS8 behind him. Karma's a bitch.

Yes I do think it is rigged.

Arty aren't big xp generators anyway, because most of your damage comes from indirect fire. Remember, you only get 50% xp for damage caused to tanks you don't have directly spotted. There is also a sizeable multiplier if you get a win that wasn't in effect in this case.

Don't be aggressive in the M26, Don't be aggressive in the M26, Don't be aggressive in the M26

Every time I tried getting my 2x on the M26, I landed at Ensk. I got 3 kills, made it through thier lines (started north), bythattime all my heavies and arty were killed. I got to the base, found out I was alone, went aftter all 3 of thier arty. Then I tried to hide because it was my 20% health M26 against a Jagdtiger, 2 IS-8's and a KV3.

One dead fella called me a ******* Noob for not trying to cap......as the friendly base capture line was filling fast. The Jagdtiger found me I got 36k silver for it at least.

I'm liking the big gun on the M12

The youngsters are already asking about the airplanes. I said we don't have enough computer to run a flight sim. "I've got $12, can we fix this one?"

I've racked up 3k xp in that thing before on a 2x game, and with 7 kills, a couple I spotted myself, I should have had an awesome tally. Still grouchy about it.

Chris, it all depends on the tanks you're hitting as well.....I could take a Priest into a Tier 5 match and rack up 5 "sloppy seconds" kills and get a better score only getting 2 solo kills and 5 damages in a Tier 7 match. It's all about how much damage you do, and not much about how many kills you get. Bigger opponent tanks = more potential damage done = higher scores and credits. For your credits earned, 700xp is just about what I'd expect for that match as a draw.

Yeah, I get crap for one-shotting Hetzers with the Grille. I keep an eye out for TDs, as they go pop easily. One less gun on the field is a good thing for the team.

But damn, so few teams know to protect their artillery. I can only press F7 so many times...

With the scout tanks that have been added to the game over the last year it's just about a moot point sometimes. It's up to arty to have the flexibility to stick with the group - just behind it - and play from a TD mode. Some arty refuse to do this, and on some maps that just won't work for the team. Dedicating tanks to protect arty for each and every match and map doesn't seem plausible, especially in a city map.

I get all that. I was just bitter about the draw. If I'd saved one round, I could have gone all Fadin on that Priest.

World of Warplanes doesn't take any more horsepower than WoT as far as i can tell.

Great - now in addition to arty falling out of the sky and ruining my day, I have to worry about carpet bombs and Navy shells. I hope I at least get to mount a couple of Stingers and a Harpoon on my T44.

Only if you are in clan wars and your side buys a battleship bombardment or some aerial cover......
