I will never game with a wired mouse again. Wireless is the way to go!

A wireless setup should be plenty fine. They have come a long ways from what they used to be.

I've found that Bluetooth mice can lag a bit, but other non-Bluetooth wireless mice are fine. Just don't put a microwave between the mouse and the computer and try to make popcorn and drive tanks at the same time.

Consumables on sale this weekend.

I spent a cool million on repair kits.

My experience has been opposite. I bought a Logitech G500 gaming mouse. This thing is awesome. I can change the scroll rate while playing (handy for arty), one button controls my Mic should I ever get to harass Norm again. It also has an adjustable weight pack thing in there. When I get excited, I have less control and those light weight mice tend to move too fast. This thing, with all the weight in it really helps fine control.

I had laggy issues with a cordless mouse, so went with corded. Cordless mice , for me, work fine for spreadsheets.

The missus decided to upload some video from her phone last night. I jumped in to the Hellcat to play a round, and was rewarded with 500-600 ping! I just hung back and sniped instead of pushing. I was surprised with every hit. Lost that battle though. Played the PZ4 gold tank, same prob. Cept this time I was second in damage and we won.

I notice you did not try to stop her upload...

My experience is the exact opposite. Every proprietary RF input solution I have seen has been uniformly terrible. Bluetooth at least requires that the engineers thought about the problem for at least 44 seconds.

But yeah, wired is better unless it is completely impractical.

Pick yer battles.

"Honey! I can't play my game while you are uploading video of our daughters last volleyball game!"

WHACK!

I learn slowly, but I learn.

I do use a corded mouse (Razer Taipan) which has some extra buttons (and I use one for TeamSpeak too ) and has the scroll rate thing and some extra weight.

But I used my old Microsoft wireless mouse for years and it worked without a hitch.

News for the day:

The single biggest piece of news is that the World of Warships Alpha has started. Currently it's Russian only, but it's going on. If you speak Russian and want to sign up, try here.

Also, a sweet interview with Nicholas Moran, aka The Chieftain.

- it’s possible ZIS-30, M56 Scorpion and ASU-57 will appear in the game
And this is the first hint I've seen of the third US TD line.

I had the same last night as my ELC took on a life of it's own and crashed into a rock before being blown to pieces...

I quietly asked how the new Kindle Fire was working out and if by chance anything was being downloaded. Yes indeed, a 'file' was being downloaded to her laptop... This took about five minutes and was either a huge 'file', a program or a massive amount of spam. Time will tell..

I tend to sit out a few minutes and don't say anything...
