I use Image Shack http://imageshack.us/

They seem to work a lot better than Photobucket.

Of course, there's always SmugMug!

Thanks for all the new destination ideas. I slapped up an imageShack acct real quick to keep the updates coming for now, and I'm hoping that I was the cause of the majority of the bandwith usage.
Anyway, this is where I left off.

Over some of yesterday and a few moments today, I made a little more progress. I thought the little teeny pieces were going to be the most challenging of all, but I'm discovering that I thought wrong. It turns out the little pieces require a lot of attention, but only for a short period of time, and since they're so small there's not much stuff to work around. After cutting out the large white pieces for the lower background, it is safe to say that they were significantly less enjoyable to work with.

I think I mentioned in a recent update that I was going to have to replace the head again…here are several attempts at getting closer to what I envision...

Sewing the white lower base in proved to be equally tedious when compared to the cutting of the shape - having to alternate between trimming on the spot and stretching into place with the thread means paying close attention not just to the stitch that's being sewn at the moment, but also maintaining three stitches ahead to make sure you don't fix something down that will later need to be trimmed. At any rate, the lower background work is done.

I began laying in the upper background today, and as you can see I also changed my mind about even the newest head. I'm just gonna put the entire background together and hope I can draw, cutout and sew down a better head later.

That is the coolest seat I've ever seen and the most labour intensive one as well.

Prety impressive that you had the will power and forsight to make that and have it turn out looking so good.

Well done.

Oh what the hell are the metal things your making?

Originally they were intended for use as flux capacitors, but my mom insists that time travel will produce undesired side effects and is urging me to avoid it. So after scratching my head for a bit, I decided that I will make turn signals to replace the stock ones that rattled off recently.

I was so stoked about the new seat. I just had to ride. I knew my turn signal had rattled off, and the threads had been ripped out of the housing in the process. As noted above, I had already begun fabricating new turn signals, and can probably have them done in a pretty short amount of time, but that wasn't going to help me at all for today. I decided to chance it and ride, dangling turn signal in tow.
Well, it didn't take too long for the long bolt that passes through the fender and the mounting arm of the turn signal housing to work its way up against the tire...and shortly thereafter, through the side wall. It was like a friggin' can opener had separated the tire along a perfect seam.

...So I will no doubt continue fabrication of the turn signals, but may be down a little longer while I save up for a new tire.

I drew up both of these possible schematics for the PCB that will go inside the 2" copper housing. I decided that the above would be best for what I'm doing. The one below would be much better for the space I have to work with, but in that instance, if one LED dies, the current that it once consumed would be dispersed across the others, and since I'm going for a full 32mA to be as bright as possible, it would only take one or two to end up blowing all the rest. The schematic above has a current limiting resistor on every LED so if one should die, the others will be unaffected.
