Clint

Very good

The Holden/Ford argument is about as silly as the DR/KLR debate but a whole lot of fun at times.

By the way Fords and KLRs are the best.

Sunday was the first time I have ever ridden with an open face helmet

Apart from a couple of extra cuts from low branches it was great. Much less fogging of the glasses and much cooler. You can spit without dire consequences as well....

Yes, but with the same Trailtech dash, and the same drz400 gearbox, and the same... this and that, with a green or yellow silhouette added. It's just not the same since they legislated out all the faster cars.

So what is the reason for the change next year with Nissan/Lexus/AMG? etc allowed in?

Is it because they can't gaurantee falcons and Commodores are gonna be around much longer? Not that that makes much difference really with sillhouette racing like the NZv8s chevy engines with Ford bodies. Just wrong.

NFI. They've all had V8s in production cars for years, dunno why they were excluded in the first place. I'm not that interested but I used to work with a few dudes who raced and/or crewed so kept in touch that way.

Maybe it's so that ppl like Clint can carve 'em up using the infield in their Lexus V8-equipped Prados!

And monstaman'll use the outfield...

Motard for V8s, anyone?

Yep. Turbocharged 2.1l four. Building a lookalike would still be a dream project for me.

Awesome, thats way better than the Ozzy rules version of car racing. Forgot how good it was.

Only a Jag could wreck an engine from having a broken headlight

Yeah but back in the day how many could afford a Volvo like that- or a new jag either? They were expensive cars. The old commodore & falcon you could walk in & buy from a dealer.

Yeah, and if you had a bigger budget, you could buy one with Brockie's special crystals in the boot.

You mean the polariser? Oh technology at its' best

http://forum.jdmstyletuning.com/show...Polarizer-quot

I have to say i never really got into Brock. Unfortunately he didn't endear himself to kwis after refering to nearly everyone driving down a road over here as a moron/ idiot during his time as tv presenter.
