And this Special Edition is limited or unlimited?
Are there other Trophy Special Editions made before?

Question - why does yours appear to be US spec but German reg? Miles/°F/extra reflectors...

Enjoy!
Yea the Anakee's seem a lot better than the Bridgestones from reviews.

Whats wrong with a US spec bike with German regs?

Working for NATO we can get US spec bikes for discount while living here :) Got mine all said an done/tax free for $12,700 USD.

"While there are no technical differences, folks that check the*Trophy box are treated to special blue and white paint, plus the OEM hand guards and bash plate installed by default. The biggest revelation from this announcement isn’t necessarily the package however. This appears to be a 2012 model, and as such it indicates that no significant updates will made to the F800GS for it’s fourth year on the market."

They should of put in the 900CC motor from the Nuda and you'd have something.

Nothing wrong, just curious Used to have friends who worked on the base near Giebelstadt/Würzburg who had a US spec Mercedes C123 that had never set foot outside of Germany... Good to save a few €€€, we all pay enough taxes as it is! Mine came in at a hair over £9k including 20% VAT w/ all factory options...

5 days to go for me, the wait has now become somewhat agonising...

Only the dunlop TR91 are better for me, except if you leave the tarmac where the Anakkes are far better:

Got mine about 1 month ago - took it to Carnegie off road park yesterday and put my crash bars to use.

Note crash bars, ipod/phone holder (highly recommend this new Ram mount version) also has radiator and headlight protectors.

I got mine on Feb 12th. I'm 1,300 miles into a trip to california. I'm on day 3 snowed in in arizona. I love the bike, it handled the miles great. I wish the fuel tank was alittle bigger though. Overall amazing machine.

1 day left!

Well, tomorrow's the day. I even brought my work Nikon D7000 home with me to capture it in its showroom state.

Normally I'd say I won't sleep tonight, but the powers that be have dealt me a stinking cold and I was so congested last night I barely slept two winks... Am so exhausted today that I'm pretty much guaranteed to sleep like the dead tonight.

Perfect! Well rested and fresh for tomorrow, with no rain on the forecast and a positively balmy 14°C

Oh... I've set up a new blog to give a little bit back to the good people of this site—the comments, experiences and advice have enabled me to research and make informed decisions on gear and extras, for which I am grateful.

George

Finally!

In virgin state at BMW Park Lane, London. Delivery area is a rather odd heated underground facility.
