Any way, we will need to ride the alternate route next year.

In the mean time, here is a teaser pic of the destination.

Bahia Matanchen, San Blas Nayarit, México.

Good picture¡. It would be good idea that It would be in the principal page of this forum
You are right about pavement, villages and dirt road. Luckily for me the streets near from my house there is not pavement

Buena foto¡ seria buen idea que estuviera en la pagina principal de este foro.
Tienes razon sobre el pavimento, los pueblos y la terraceria. Afortunadamente para mi cerca de mi casa las calles no tienen pavimento.

Arte,
Thanks for sharing your adventure. I just bumped SR's report of this very route today, wanting to do a simular loop tis upcoming year. I just don't know what bike to bring, the Dual Sport or road bike. How much dirt is left from Durango down to the coast? Sending PM.

Rode It

Nice RR

We're ( 2 up KTM 990A ) in San Blas this morning, after riding the route
from Durango yesterday.

Spectacular riding, 500K of twisties, a lot of rocks in the road, very little
traffic and no LEO's
I'm sure it was quite the Adventure in the days when it was all dirt.
Now it only has 20 or 30 K of graded dirt.
We rode it in seven hours hotel to hotel.

I'm would not ride a sport bike on it, but would love to shred it on my
Ducati Multistrada MTS 1200.

I'd put this ride on your list of must do rides.

Mazatlan, Durango, San Blas, Mzatlan could be one of the greatest ride
around.

Twist it, Max

keep riding... no matter what.

so the 12 riders group got split on halves

one half went to SAYULITA the other half went to MAZATLAN... I was on the 2nd half...

Frank Flames and Richard opted to catch up on us at mazatlan the same day later!!!

we got at 7 pm at Mazatlan and they got at midnight!!! at the time they arrived, I got their GPS and checked their speed,... top speed was 205 km/h

this guys are crazy... running at night and at that speed.... well on a toll road...

having a break

LUNCH TIME or dinner???

finally got to Mazatlan, soo tired

next morning pics
