That's looking good Chris

Always liked a vehicle that has a story behind where all the various parts came from.

After machining 5 spacers my 15" powder coated alloy wheel is installed with a Michelin 125/15.

Hopefully this weekend I will get my front disc brake and and 4 piston caliper installed.

Looking forward to your disc brake update, I might be tempted to do something along the same lines myself

Here is the new front wheel and brake disc.

I'll swap the swing arm tomorrow for the one I welded a caliper mount to.

love the "smoothie" hack wheel, looks like a spindle mount vw wheel for a manx or sandcar. really looks great with the skirted fender.

brake

does it rise at the front on braking? surprised you ddn't make a floating caliper mount. I like your machine, looks like an old outfit that's been in use for years. And you get to pick out all the best years of BMW parts, too. Better than a stock restoration.

The funny things is I don't know. It might lift, but I've been riding these old things for so long I don't notice it.
The conversion was done in the 80's and it's defiantly a bits-o-bike.
40mm carburetors on a R90 motor
Crank fired ignition from some VW parts
/6 rear drive conversion
/5 headlight bucket
.....and soon to change some more.
