BMW R1150XX Clutch Spacer Feedback Thread.

Hello everybody.
People have bought 50 hub spacers so far, and there are about 15 installs of the spacer.
It would be nice to track the parts for long term feedback and possible quality issues.
If you had one of my spacers installed and don't mind taking a couple of minutes to simply post the installation date and the mileage for further reference. If you have a picture of the bike you are more than welcome to include that. You are welcome to update your post periodically.
This is not a discussion thread.
Thank you and please feel free to post other questions at

Installed mine 5/15/15 with 32900 miles. Also had to replace input shaft due to no teeth left. Now have 33700 and have been very hard on the trans to see if anything gives, so far so good.

As is well documented on the Pelican forum ( http://forums.pelicanparts.com/bmw-r...s-failure.html), my '03 R11S failed at 18, 935 miles in January. Along with Esmir's spacer I also replaced the input shaft.

I own several machines - however, this one in particular is being used on an daily basis - relentlessly, by not only myself but my kids and friends as well. It has been recruited to visit relatives in Vancouver, Washington and rental property checks in Telluride, Colorado. Anyone who rides it knows its history and my specific instructions to ride the crap out of it as it is being used as a mule to assess Esmir's spacer. I don't know how many owners have this unique set of circumstances available to them but it has become the Schumann taxi of sorts. I just checked the odometer and its at 34,415 and climbing...rapidly.

2003 R1150RT, spacer, shaft and all clutch parts. Have put about 1000 km on since the rebuild. Shifts great, no issues. Bike has 85,000 km on it.

If I had to do it over I'd have just put in a new disc with the spacer mod.

Will update in a couple of months.

R1200CLC - clutch w/spacer, input shaft...

I bought my 2004 R1200 CLC new from the dealer in 2006. It had been stored in their warehouse for 2 years. My first clutch and input shaft was replaced under warranty by the dealer with OEM parts at 12,253 mi. on Oct 13, 2007. I just replaced that clutch and input shaft w/bearings at 74,301 mi. (62,048 miles on it), on June 17, 2015, along with the clutch cover, spring and pressure plate, and slave cylinder. The new OEM clutch plate is modified with Esmir's spacer.
