The bike is moving :) From Hot Rod Welding Erik to Rayz seats!!

Yesterday 570km driving around the Dutch country side: from my home in the north to Zwaanshoek. Hot Rod Welding Erik fixed the X-rally fairing, X-rack, and X-tank!! Great work Erik!! Thankz! Looks very good and it fits perfectly! (the finishing touch will be done in March).

From Erik I brought the bike to Dordrecht, to Rayz seats. Ray is going to make a real cool and the one and only Maggie Seat for me!!

Now back home. A few more weeks to go!! The most important guys in my life at this very moment: Ray, Bas and Erik!! Hahahaha Kidding! I forgot my dad! Thankzz dad, for borrowing the van!

RayZZ will re-style the seat this week, and one week later I will get the bike from Dordrecht to Alphen a/d R. again.
In the mean time Stephan Scheffelmeier (Scheffelmeier Metal) will send the bash plate with case saver and some other stuff to Alphen a/d R.

Bas will do all the electric stuff, the Scheffelmeier parts and off course after measuring the hight, the final Hyperpro shock will be placed!! Purple is the best

Have a nice weekend!! I will keep you posted!!

Maggie

Great to see you back, Maggie!

Seems like the seal savers will interfere with front fork movement. Why not use the plastic off-road fork guards from a KTM?

Love the auxiliary fuel tank. I assume everything will get painted or powdercoated later? Do the whole bike purple like a KLR?

Glad to see your bike is coming together nicely!
Are you planning a return to Mongolia? Or planning another adventure ride to another location?

I hope when your X-Country beauty is finished you will put it on a good scale. I'd like to know the real weight of the bike with fuel and luggage.

Looking forward to more ride reports.

YeZZ my one and only RayZ seat is finished!! The MagZ seat!!!

Happy Blond Dutch Chick over here From Erik Hot Rod Welding, who did a very very good job on all the X-gadgets, I brought my bike to RayZ seats in Dordrecht!!

And just a week later, my very own RayZ seat is finished!! And what a beauty it is!! A copy of what I had in mind...! Hihihihihi I will call it the one and only MagZ seat

ThankZZ Ray! You're the best! Again a happy Magster!!

Next weekend, off I go to Bas! For the suspension (shock height), and he will finish all the electrics and the Scheffelmeier stuff.
Now we're getting somewhere!!

Kiss the Magster

Hallo Maggy,

Dont forget to take of your chainguard, it isn`t compatble with the X-tank!

Your Xcountry has standard an 16 teeth front sprocket, but with your new 18 inch wheel it will need to be changed to(o)(14?)
Stephan has them, and also take a look at the piece of art in his shop which also can be used used as case saver when the chain breaks.

Noisy
