If those are the ones that Walter bought then they should be 690 Enduro ones.

You should sell those brackets for the 990 fenders, everybody else just makes them for the 950 which has slightly different mounting points.

By the way what triples are you and Bas now using for the WP conversions? The 690 ones might work better than the EXC ones (20mm offset) on Walter's bike, they have 22-24mm offset which is closer to the X-Ch 25mm.

Hello hello everybody!! Here MaggieZ again! The bike has been fished!!

It took a while.....due to other hobbies But now, finally, the bike has been finished!
As you can see, the painting is ready, metallic white. Thankzz Bert!! It's looking very great.
And last but not least, yesterday we went to Hot Rod Erik in Zwaanshoek, for the finishing touch on the front fender. Erik made fitting brackets for it, hand made, special made for Maggie

We made some special pics for Erik in response on his very good job on the bike in total

Normally I would never say this but.... look at my bum in one of the pics. How cool is that?! I bought a dress in Rome this spring, and by very nice accident we saw there was 'Hot Rods' painted on the back!! Hahahahaha

Erik, these pics are for you

Erik's doggy, Storm. That's not a coinidence, Maggie ZantStorm

Ciao everybody!! Have great summer!

And see you off- and on road!!! (in the Ukrain or Russia ) Pakaa

Ps: RayZ, thankz love for the pics. You're the best

@ Lukas,

The forks are Bas's playground mostly of course. What comes at hand is used I guess . I'll check with him when comes back from his Sibirsky trip in 5 weeks . Personally I like the conversion with the shiver forks. I want to keep the wide c.d. (210 mm instead of 190 for the WP) of the XC forks. Gives a lot more steering angle, especially with the fairing mount. Done a few recently, where I had the XC's lower triples machined out to fit the shiver legs. We're still thinking of adapting the XC legs to fit a Marzocchi cartridge and make them fully shimmable and adjustable.

But b.o.t. We don't want to hijack Maggies thread for technical discussions, do we?

Really nice looking bike (and bum!), I now understand why Erik isn't answering e-mails......

Erik, the new workshop looks very spacious, but is there any chance of you getting prices for all the parts you make on your web site? (or answer inquiries?) Hoping, Dean

I know it's highest time I update the website, but haven't had the time yet

In short: I went from The Netherlands to Mongolia on a F650GS (June 2011), broke my ankle in Numrug Mongolia..
Wow, looks like you're ankle has made a complete recovery!
And your new X-Country looks great too.
Good luck on your next adventure.

Hi Maggie

I just wanted to ask how do you like the fairing? It looks tall and might block your vision.

Also you have a great looking bike and I hope you have many fun and safe miles with it.
