Everyone....stay posted. Unfortunately, the BLM website leaves much to be desired and I cannot find a good answer on the web, regarding the limits to ride....without a permit. I will call the BLM office tomorrow to determine. I don't want anyone turned away. ...

We had big groups do the Kokopelli on the Tramontana trips, and everyone got spread pretty thin in minutes with the different paces everyone rode.

Great to hear! I was only going on phone calls with the owner, so it's good to see some pics and positive feedback. |

I just changed our reservation at Ron's Pack Camp. We are now in the Olive Grove Group Site. The fee will be $5 per person, per night......so a total of about $12 per person for the two nights with taxes, etc.....

Gearing
This will be my first time riding out there and I was wondering if I need to gear down a bit. Currently running 15/47 on a 1990 DR350 with an 18" rear. Seems like it should tractor up just about anything but I'm tempted to drop a tooth or 2 in the front?

So am I to understand that there is still room now?
I am one of the lurkers waiting in the wings to see how my stars align. I was planning on heading out to Moab that weekend (24/25) and spend the week riding with a buddy. It now looks like he (my buddy) might not head out until the following Wed(28th), so I am trying to get out there myself a little earlier and enjoy my time off. Bottom line is that I MIGHT be able to go for the Thurs night camp and ride the Koko section, but I would stay in Moab and not come back with the group. I tried to keep up with the various early posts, but I am not sure if there is anyone still with room for a DR650 to trailer over the mountains from Denver. Is there anyone else that has room in a truck/trailer and wants to add another person to split gas costs on the way out?

I have room in my truck and on the trailer. I am hoping to leave Thursday mid morning.
