Hi all:

I ride a KTM 625sxc with a big tank. I have ridden rabbit valley and moab lots of time.

I would really like to join the ride.

Does anybody still have room for another body and bike ?

Scott I have room for a rider and bike on the way out however my schedule for returning is going to be dependent upon the doc that is going to cover for me. I may have to cut the ride short on Sunday and return early. If not you are welcome or if there is another space going back I have room for you and Chris on the way out

Looks like I'll be towing Modette's trailer with my bike, and it can take two. I'll be leaving Colorado Springs Thursday morning and going through Denver, and leaving Sunday from Fruita and returning through Denver as well. Contact me if your ride needs a lift...

No extra room for people -- got us four and a pup in my Jeep

I'll be leaving Lakewood Thursday after 2 PM and returning Sunday. I have room in my trailer for one extra bike and room in my car for several people if anyone needs a ride.

That plan works a lot better for my schedule. If you do not fill up that one bike slot before I figure out my own schedule, I might take you up on that. Otherwise, I can certainly see if I can make KTMdoc's timeline and pay him gas money.

So many generous people out there. Glad to know not everyone scoffs at us late comers.

And just to be clear again, I only need the ride one way. I got other plans for coming back.

Well.....Blbiker56 will be finished with his class and home by 1pm. I suspect we will gather up Mac and Lark....and be out of the Springs by 2pm.

Looks like it is 6 hours with a stop or two.....to Fruita. We should roll in at 8pm or so.

Went for a test ride, only one issue I found, the bent bark buster, need to shave a few mm off the clutch lever :-) Gets stuck in the dented area...LOL Only slightly...not enough that it is not ride-able but enough to just be annoying.

So my bike is ready to go...

When I get back I'll just have to load up and leave the following day.

Was the weather nice in the Springs today? (I am in IA this week) I really wish I were in the office today and tomorrow...just so I could ride in the evenings in this awesome weather.

Yesterday, I pulled out the Strom and the Pig and took both for a ride. The XRR is running great...I just need to change the oil and mount the adventure racks.

I was going to put on the new tires and install the Tubliss System, but I think I am going to keep the dual-sport tires on the bike and finish them off. The tires are actually awesome on rock.....they struggle a little in deep sand.

I went to Penrose Commons http://staythetrail.org/maps/viewtra...ail_id=88&sv=0 on Sunday. Great weather! I also got to test out the Tubliss on the KTM 690. Running a D606 front and a Heidenau K60 rear. I got on the (very rocky) trail and it didn't take me long to realize that the 30psi was way too much pressure. I didn't have a gauge with me, but I'd estimate I took it down to 10psi for both tires. The control over the rocks was greatly improved (maybe it was the adrenaline kicking in?) While the rear didn't hook up in the soft sand as well as the D606, it was still quite acceptable to me. Best part was airing back up in Penrose and riding Hwy115 back at street pressure in the twisty sections

Sorry you have to sit on the trailer for two weeks....
