You can park your trucks at my place.

Hey - this looks like a great ride. I would like to go but my KDX is getting rebuilt/new forks at another inmates place in Grand Junction.

If you want, you can keep your trucks and stuff at a property I own in Mack along the route, you will just need to park the vehicles out of the way as I am rebuilding the place, tearing out some old septic systems, etc...

There is no insurance for you or your items if something happens while on the property, the insurance is funny during the restoration of the building fyi...

Its at the Corner of HWY 6 & 50 and the interstate exit 11- Many remember it as the old Rock Shop and Uintah Railway Hotel.

Let me know if this works for you.

Thanks for the offer, Erik, but I think we are leaving our rigs at the campground, which is described in a previous post. This is the campground, where we are spending Thursday night. sTheir RV storage is secure and they are only charging us $9 for the whole time.

Swing by on Thursday evening if you have a chance. Would like to meet you.

John

BigJohn,
Can I get a place holder spot? I go to the orthopod tomorrow and most likely he is going to cut on my shoulder--I hate whoops--anyway don't know what the rehab etc will be
Got a kitchen pass if I'm operational--

Anyone looking for a cabin bunk space on Thursday, let me know. Cost per person will be $15-20, depending on how many takers we have. There are around six beds left. Bed includes a bare mattress (no bedding), showers, inside.

There are two rig parking spaces left. $3/day.

Let me know...

Thanks for the spot--will let you know if rehab is going to stop me. About 3 years ago I rode up Onion Creek and connected to the KT--it was the first week of March--found myself in 2 feet of snow in short order with some real nasty mud just prior to the snow--
I'll be on my 07 525 with 148 mile range--on a good day-----
Here is hoping for an "fixed" shoulder and no snow

Mac i'd like to be on for one of those bunk spaces and truck spaces. There is a very small chance I won't be able to make this trip happen so I understand if you want to take only 100 percenters. It's pretty dang good odds I will be in though.

Just for complete clarification........

Mac's efforts here are for Thursday Night only. The plan at this point is to ride the Kokopelli on Friday and stay at Ron's Pack Creek Campground on Friday night.

What is undecided at this point is Saturday night. We don't know if we will head out Saturday morning and tent camp somewhere out in the boonies on our way back to Grand Junction.....or if we will stay a second night in Moab. Stay tuned for this decision. At this point, I have a single campsite at Ron's. Might need another or two.

I think it is time to start an....IN LIST.

Please let me know if you are IN?

The IN LIST will be on Post #1.

If you panned left and caught the edge of the La Sals you would have seen plenty. But down there on Hell's Revenge, Dome Plateau, and Poison Spider Mesa you're not very high. Moab is around 4,000 ft.

Looks good though!

But, if we do this, then we probably split the group. Some wanting to do the Moab trip as planned.....and the other half wanting to stay out in the boondocks and hunt for BigFoot.
Hey! I just caught this and I want you to know I bathe once a month whether I need it or not!!! Besides I got the cutest toes around! (even though they've all been broke at least twice each)

Yeah, plenty of the white stuff all around Mt. Waas. But all along the Colorado River, it was all brown.

John I am 90% sure that I am in. My only concern is getting someone to cover my practice for four days. I have two covered now and a tentative for the other two. I will plan on truck camping at the RV park on Thursday. I have stayed there before and there are tent spaces next to the cabins. If not I will plan on staying across the street in the State campground. On Saturday I may have to get a motel rather than the campsite because I have to stay in touch with the docs covering for me.
