Badlands, Black Hills, Plains and Mountains

On Sept 1 I left KC heading to see Mount Rushmore for the first time. From there I had no set plans.

I visited Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and Kansas. I traveled 2900 miles and got home on Sept. 11.

Here is a short slide show of my trip. It will only take up 3:33 of your life.

Thank you. Many are from Nebraska. The first pic was in KS the next 6 were in NEB, including the wedding party in the horse drawn wagon (O'neall). The old wooden bridge and the next 3 pictures were in far western Neb.

I went in and looked at all the pictures of this trip. They are really amazing. It looked like a great trip. How do you get the map to show up with your pictures? I use Picasa for my pictures also.

Thank you. I had a great trip.

When I take a picture I set a waypoint on my GPSr. When I load my pictures onto Picasa and create I have a map of the waypoints in another window. While editing the pictures in Picasa I match the two up (bottom right corner in Picasa). It takes some time and I'm sure there are better ways to do it but that works for me.

Thanks for checking it out. I'm looking at spending more time in the Sand Hills. I really enjoyed riding that area of NE.

Chris LaDue is one of my favorites. I saw one of his last concerts. He sat on a stool and his voice was not as strong but it was still a great show.
