Pretty sure the new switchback doesn't fit into the $3-4k budget.

Sounds perfect! Time to ride I do not have right now. Just started a new job! No time accrued yet! But perfect fit. Maybe I can check on cost of delivery.

I've most likely found my bike. Its a 2000 bmw R11000rt, looks like a russel saddle, 3pc hard luggage, 69k miles, maint records. It's along way from home(450 miles) and a little above budget but I'm going to try and put together the extra casj. Seems like a great deal for under $4K. The st11 would certainly work, but its heavier, and not fuel injected. Definately a low maint bullet proof bike though.
