Would love to hear the bike without the music masking the lovely engine sounds. Beautiful work!

This is my 03 LeMans that I bought new. Now has about 55,000 relatively troublefree miles on it and runs like new.

Well, it's time for me to start with the accessories. Looking for a small windshield like a puig universal touring. Most places I've looked are overseas. Wondering if theirs anywhere to get something like that in the states at a reasonable price.

Ive got some valve cover protectors ordered which I think will come in handy. Might try some crash bars also.

Easy.

If you're smart, the oil filter is secured with a hose clamp.

Drop the sump, loosen the clamp, remove the filter.

Doesn't really take all that long.

There are alot of bolts on the sump cover though.

Not as easy as a DL oil change, but if I can do it anyone can. I don't remember my oil filter being held on by a hose clamp though. I thought it was a spin on. I still have the Guzzi filter tool.

EDIT- Missed the "smart" part.

an old racer's trick that can save your engine.

I didn't have one on my Quota, but wish I did.

OUCH. That lunch the whole motor?

I'm in the market for a new/used bike. I really am looking for something new and different. Maybe a Rocket III or a Road Glide.

But I keep lurking/posting in the Guzzi threads and I have my eye on ebay and the MGNOC classifieds.
