Whoa!!! Super cool, Anders.!!! Just got the last of my regulation stuff in, now time to start going over the bike. Had my auxillary lights go out today, so I've got to chase some wires, torque some bolts, valve clearance, re-weld subframe, and change the fluids!!!

Hit a huge boulder at about 35.mph and high sided. Current estimate is 4 months recovery. But ill know more after surgery.

Haha maybe I'm a wuss but I couldn't ride after. I did walk a mile out. Sadly I broke and shattered several bones so its quite bad.

Heh, was thinking just the same thing (i.e. the link you point to) when pjm sent that. Dan (country doc) is one determined guy riding 300 miles of some really nasty stuff with that broken wrist to finish the Dacre. He had said he planned on Rally WV but that isn't looking good now of course.

pjm, damn that sucks. Rest up and head up to New York in September!

I'll know this week how long I have to be in the cast. Not happy about this. For some strange reason my arm hurts

Was looking at the sup regs for Rally WV and the list these classes:

MH Motorcycle Heavy
MMM Motorcycle Medium Modified
MMS Motorcycle Medium Stock
ML Motorcycle Lite

Which I believe are the classes as they were a couple years ago but not today. Hopefully they realize the current classes are:

Heavy
Medium
Dakar
Lite
Adventure Heavy
Adventure Light

The best way to get things changed/fixed is to contact the organizer directly. Send him an email.

Cheers,
Anders

OK guys I am ready to pout together a sort of rooming list if anybody is interested in renting one of those big condos.

The more the merrier, as far as cost goes. Post here or PM if you have any interest.

last one was five rooms, 2-1/2 bath which made it about $150 per room for 4 days/3 nights. Garage, hot tub, pull out couch for reduced rate if the rooms fill up

Also, I cant seem to find where in the competitors section it has the actual supp regs. Can someone please help a dumbass out?

PJM, sorry to hear about your wrist, man. I have been there ( as have many of us I'm sure ), and it's a drag no doubt. I was in a cast up to my shoulder because I had 2 breaks, but luckily did not have to have surgery. I have heard that surgery helps it heal better, and faster though. On the same wreck, I split my knee cap into two, and had to wear a brace, so I looked like frankenstein for a while. Did you do this on your XR?

Ah so, grasshoppa....I see the problem. I wasn't actually clicking on "Competitors" in the menu, but rather just hovering over it and then selecting things from the list that pops up.

thanks for the fresh pair of eyes. mine have been staring at computer screens far too long.
