Thanks.

I got the Zumo all loaded up. Now to get the bike out of the shop (24K Service) and start packing up for the weekend.
dirt roads should be little different than our carrizo/pozo ride
so to answer your question, no sand

Where can I download the official routes?

There are two different route maps on the first page of this thread, and I know the camp spot has been moved...

Serious?

If so, Plug GPS into computer, open mapsource, open downloaded map, open utility to load on GPS, the rest is very GPS dependent.

Some of us had difficulty in actually getting the down oad done. Until we changed computer settings and then life was good.

Go back to the first page and click on the bottom of the map where it says Dualsportmaps.com and it will take you to the site and hit download map at lower left. It's the one with the camp in Idyllwild but should take you to the correct map from that link.

I had to limit points to 500 or less before loading into my 76cx to show the trail completely.

Ahhhh, that's right. dualsportmaps.com was the missing link (pun intended). Thank you!

The maps are number 1 through 13? I think. Very easy to figure out which track comes first. Much easier to load my Zumo 550 than my Garmin 76. No 500 point limit and 10 track limit.

The 20 tracks and 500 points per track are not really limits if you're willing to convert the tracks into a map. Supposedly you can load hundreds of tracks with thousands of track points into a 76Cx with this software http://www.gpx2img.com/
