At the last get together it was brought up that some might be interested in watching/learning the home brew process, while I am by far no expert I've at least done a few and can help those thinking about starting. This would be a good opportunity to see how it is done and "get your hands dirty". Tentatively we are thinking about getting together at my place in San Clemente on Sunday 10-11ish. Anyone wanting to come is welcome.

Brewing a Barley Wine and a Scotch Ale for the next get together, the barley wine will not be ready till the fall meetup as it requires extended aging. PM me for addy if you are thinking about coming and so we can get a head count.

Michael.

Barley Wine

Here's the Barley Wine Blake and I made for the fall trip (wherever, whenever that might be). Brewed today, bottle in a few weeks and should be good and ready by Octoberish. Thanks for the help today Blake!

We'll be making the Scotch Ale next weekend or the one after that. Let me know if you would like to pitch in.
