[QUOTE=miguelito;18438957 Should you find yourself winding your way through San Miguel de Allende, our local riders' club meets Miercoles a las cinco at the Longhorn Smokehouse on Salida de Celaya.[/QUOTE]

We will get to San Miguel de Allende tomorrow, don't know if we will make it in time for the meeting of your club ; maybe we can meet later or on Thursday for a beer and a chat ?

Guanajuato

Guanajuato is full of narrow streets, lots of steps and surprises around every corner. And so different from the rest of Mexico that I have seen so far

And food as always , important and present

Happy Birthday Wicha!!!

Guanajuato was by far my favorite Mexican town. I almost cried the night we decided we had to leave We had coffee that night on that cafe right on the bridge. The place has amazing food, but I was most fond of the street food here than anything (gorditas for breakfast right outside the pension we stayed at, tacos, etc). To be honest, the only thing that was a disappointment for me was the Museo de las Momias, Didn't think much of it. Took a ride to the nearby sliver mines, and also went up to the Cubilete to see Jesus .

So did you actually paid the fee to take pics inside Teatro Juarez , lol.

As far as Pazcuaro, I got the same feeling as you, but there were a lot of tourist when we were there, on our way back from Paricutin. Had some fish, but it was pez blanco, not the trout. That and baby fish gorditas, delish.

The beergarden, we went, saw and left, that was eerie, we were the only ones there and it looked abandoned...

Keep on riding!!!
