Yesterday it got cloudy pretty soon and then the rain was on and off all day long. So instead of riding and swimming , I got a haircut(the fastest and most expensive one so far) and Luisa went window shopping .
Today we are off to Kalispell

A good day to be parked in Kalispell as we have 60 mph winds forecast for today in Lethbridge and north of us up to Calgary. It should blow itself out tonight and be better tomorrow. Have a safe ride.

I should have asked if you were going straight up to Calgary after you cross the Canadian border, or what your plans where? If you are planning on stopping in the area we can always put you up for the night in Lethbridge.
If you are going up the Cowboy trail # 6 Hwy ( then becomes # 22Hwy ) , there is a decent restaurant at Twin Butte. Let me know if you are going that way and maybe we could meet you for lunch. Do you know which crossing you are going to use, Chief Mountain #17 Hwy then becomes # 6 Hwy or the one straight south of Cardston, Alberta which would be on # 2 Hwy. I've used both in the last year and they are OK, the Chief Mountain crossing is less used and the highway can have some rough spots but nothing to worry about. You will have to watch the gravel on the paved roads in Montana, particularly in the Babb & St Marys area, and possibly on # 17 hwy. A few of us were down at Kalispell over the weekend and found there was still a lot of gravel on the paved highways in the twisties. If I don't hear from you have a good trip.
