Its not technical really, but there is a lot of sand near where we are starting. I had a Buell Ullyses come with on my last run, and he did good but he biffed a few times in the sand. Personally, I wouldn't ride anything with Tourances on it on this section, but thats just me. The Perkinstown trails are really rocky doubletrack with mud holes scattered around. You can get through there with 50/50 tires though. I think this is ideal for 650's and certainly doable on large ADV bikes. If I had a GS, I'd take it on the route, but it would have TKC's on it.

I think I am going to rethink my priorities for that weekend.
This is sounding like a better idea. I did miss out on the ride last year. |

Oh man. I really want to do the hillclimb again too, but this sounds awesome. I'm torn....

On the schedule, and there's nothing else in the area to screw it up..

I will try to gather up "friends who ride KLR's" and see
if we can all make to fairly represent the cheap ADV crowd...

I ride a KLR... A bit new at riding. My bike is well broken in though, heh. I will need to check my schedule... One day off work is doable.

Of course, real KLR riders can identify the secret KLR rider greeting, right?
![]() Is it: 1) "Great, more junk" 2) "Hey, does your dad know you borrowed the wood splitter again?" 3) "Hey, nice farm machinery" 4) "Say, that would look great in a nice pastel blue" 5) All of the above Answer is number 5.
